Description

After years in the jungle, new ghoul Jane Boolittle experiences culture shock when she arrives at Monster High and heads to the catacombs to observe the student bodies from afar.

Summary

Monster High is abuzz with talk of a new female student, Jane Boolittle, who comes from a whole other continent and previously was homeschooled. The Fear Squad has taken it upon itself to welcome Jane with a cheer just for her. When they spot her approaching the school, the fearleaders start their cheer, only to lose sight of Jane during it.

Jane's inexperience with interaction with multiple peers at once is more of an obstacle to her than either she or the school expected. The moment she caught sight of the welcoming committee, she ran off and around them to climb the school building and observe her fellow students from the belfry. For the next few hours, this is how Jane moves around Monster High: in hiding, so she can observe and decipher the odd habits of her new environment before presenting herself in it.

Jane collects a lot of information, but she is also overwhelmed by it. She flees into the catacombs to gain peace of mind and reevaluate her methods, because she fears her current ones will not help her forward timely. However, as she writes her thoughts down in her journal, eight sets of glowing eyes appear behind her.

• Lagoona is part of the welcoming committee, which for the rest consists of the Fear Squad. For the occasion, Lagoona joins them, something she only did before in the Volume 1 webisode "Fear Squad".
• This webisode directly precedes "Boo Ghoul at School".

Milestones

• Jane Boolittle, Hissette, Watzit, Azura, Perseus, Shiver, Count Fabulous, Crescent, and Sir Hoots A Lot make their cartoon debuts.

Other

• This webisode is one of five Volume 4 webisodes that first were found on the Monster High YouTube channel on November 21, 2013. They were only viewable for people who knew the URL. They were made regularly viewable on the 27th of November and added to the Monster High website on December 10th.
• Jinafire and Catrine wear their New Scaremester outfits.
• The Perfect Guy, previously only seen in the Volume 1 webisode "Horrorscope", shows up in the background. His hair isn't black this time though, but the same blue-ish grey of his skin.
