Plot[]
It's weekend, and Clawdeen goes home for the first time since she arrived in the monster world. There's only one problem, Clawdeen haven't told her father about her being a werewolf and about Monster High yet. Draculaura believes, since he received an enchanted letter, maybe he doesn't need to know, but Clawdeen misses being close to him, and she's still have questions about what happened her mother. Draculaura then receives a notification on her ICoffin, she has reached 90,000 followers on the EekTok, Clawdeen and Frankie congratulate her for that, although she's happy, Draculaura says her real life friends are more important to her, But Cleo isn't happy, because she has only 52 followers, and she wants more, then she has the idea of making humans her new followers. In her dorm room, Clawdeen is packing her things to go home for the weekend when Cleo enters the room, she says she wants to go with Clawdeen to support her on telling her father the truth about her monster heritage, Clawdeen is happy with it and agrees.
They arrive at the Wolf family's house, Clawdeen, in her human form, takes Cleo to her room to hide her, she hears her family entering home and tells her friend to be quiet. Clawdeen is then lovely greeted by her father Apollo and her pet dog Crescent. They hear sounds coming from her room. Knowing it's Cleo, Clawdeen convinces her father it's nothing, just school suplies she brought, so Apollo takes Crescent and they go get dinner. Clawdeen opens the door, seeing Cleo made a mess in the room, Clawdeen reminds her to be quiet and closes the door. Cleo finds Clawdeen's yearbook from her former school and reads it, she learns about two human girls who are very popular, which interests her, she then sees Clawdeen's laptop on the desk. The Wolf family is having dinner, with Apollo's famous jambalaya. She tries to tell him about her monster side, but loses the courage, then she spots one of Cleo's scarabs, she takes it away, telling Apollo she's just getting the salt. Crescent sees the scarab and chases it to Clawdeen's room's door. Clawdeen is still hesitant on telling her secret, then she hears Crescent scratching her room's door and runs to her, leaving her father clueless. With her werewolf abilities, she barks to Crescent, and Crescent licks her face and happily runs off.
Back at the table, Clawdeen tries again to tell her father everything, but is still worried and tells him to wait while she goes to her room. There, Cleo is checking Clawdeen's human social media on her laptop to find out more about those popular girls. Clawdeen enters the room and expresses her worries, because this is not something easy to do. Cleo comforts her, saying she must do it on her time, and if now it's not the time, that's okay. Clawdeen thanks her friend and leaves the room. Cleo immediately runs back to the laptop, she finds a video of the two girls eating at an egyptian restaurant. Seeing those girls have 100,000 followers, Cleo gets hyped. She tracks the restaurant's adress on the laptop, it's not so far from the Wolf family's house so she goes there, forgetting completly she can't be seen by humans, again.
At the dinner table, Apollo asks Clawdeen how is school going, Clawdeen tells a story about Frankie but then spots one of Cleo's scarabs outside, panicked, she gives her father another excuse and runs to her room. She's in shock seeing Cleo is gone, she tries to call her but Cleo left her ICoffin in the room. Clawdeen tries to use her keen sense of smell to track Cleo's scent, but it's not as keen while she's on human form. Then, Apollo enters the room and asks what is happening. Realizing she can't hide it anymore, she hugs her father, tells him Cleo was in her room and now is gone and then, she transforms into a werewolf right in front of her father. She's worried about his reaction, but Apollo is amazed and comments she looks just like her mother, leaving Clawdeen in shock. Not only he knew about his wife being a werewolf, but when he gave Clawdeen the moonclaw necklace, he was planning to tell Clawdeen the truth after she returned home from her birthday, but she discovered Monster High sooner than he expected and he decided to wait until she would be ready to talk, so he didn't let himself fall into the enchanted of the letter. She asks why he didn't tell her before. Saddened, Apollo confesses he was scared of losing Clawdeen like he lost Selena and asks for her forgiveness, and she forgives him. Clawdeen then asks her father what happened to her mother. He tells her that 10 years ago, Selena had to leave for a task for the Monster Council and never returned home, he looked for her but with no sucess, all he discovered is that Selena had enemies, they were worried they'd find the two, but Clawdeen promises they'll never lose each other and they hug. Then Apollo remembers about Cleo, snapping his daughter back to the problem.
At the egyptian restaurant, the popular girls are chating while eating, Cleo approaches and tries to talk. Since the restaurant is egyptian and Cleo is an egyptian mummy, the girls believe Cleo is the restaurant's mascot. Cleo gets offended and frustated, but when the girls ask to film her, she goes into character while the girls film her, but they quickly stop paying attention to Cleo and start chating again. Cleo is frustated again and decides to use other methods. At the Wolf house, Apollo has an idea to find Cleo, he opens a secret closet and reveals to Clawdeen his secret: he is a monster researcher, just like his daughter, and that's how he met Selena. The closet has many gadgets to find monsters and they take them to their mission. Clawdeen tracks Cleo with her werewolf smelling and they run to the restaurant. There, Cleo is still trying to get attention, but has no sucess. Desperate, Cleo uses her cursing powers to get their attention, she floats in the air, creates bad weather and shouts in a scary voice, the humans believe these just special effects and are impressed filming everything with their phonwa.
Apollo and Clawdeen have already arrived. Knowing the two girls will get in trouble for this, Clawdeen starts thinking of a plan. Seeing that Cleo's scarabs love moon chips (potato chips shaped like crescent moons), she opens the packaging and throws it in the people there, making the scarabs chase the people and everyone runs away. Clawdeen transforms back into a human and walks to Cleo and tells her stop, although Cleo is still in the idea. So Clawdeen convinces her that cursing people into following makes her get unfollowed, so Cleo finally stops, and Clawdeen tells her to go back with Apollo. The two teenagers girls are aware Cleo is a real mummy, but Clawdeen takes out one of her father's gadgets, a monsters sounds impersonator, and gets it to sound like a mummy. This makes the girls believe Clawdeen faked everything. Angered, the girls delete all photos and videos of Cleo and walk away.
After all this, Cleo realized there are more important things in life than getting more followers on social media, so she returned to Monster High to work on her bonds with her friends, while Clawdeen is staying home for the weekend to talk with her father about everything. She's recording all about it on her IBall, upon finishing, she hands it over to Apollo for him to see how it works. He pushes a bottom and it shows one of her recordings, in which Clawdeen is talking about someone she thinks is "totally cute". Embarrased and in panic, she frantically tries to turn it off and ends up falling down.
