W!LDBRAIN is a Los Angeles and New York-based animation studio. It was created in 1991 under the name BIG Pictures as a subsidiary of the in 1976 founded (Colossal) Pictures. BIG Pictures took on the name W!LDBRAIN in 1994. In 1999, (Colossal) Pictures shut down, leaving W!LDBRAIN to go on independently until it was purchased by DHX Media in September 2010.
