Venus picks some of them up and puts them in the appropriate trashcan. She tries to convince Manny to be as considerate with his trash, but he considers it too much trouble. When she tries to encourage Heath to recycle, he refuses. Venus uses her pollen persuasion powers to change his tune, but she understands he's only one among billions she needs to convince to take care of the environment.
While talking with a tree outside, Abbey and Frankie overhear and offer to help. The trio goes to see Cleo because, as the most popular girl at Monster High, her popularity allows her to influence the students in a way none of them can. Cleo wants to help but thinks that associating herself with trash would sooner harm her popularity than boost the will to recycle in the other students. She elaborates they need to make recycling seem cool, to which Clawdeen suggests a fashion show.
The girls get to work recycling trash into fashionable dresses, and with the help of some friends they turn the creepateria into a fashion hall. Heath hosts the show, which easily sways the students' mindset on recycling. At the end of the show, the trash in the creepateria is all sorted in the appropriate trashcans, and Venus is happy. Venus rushes across the school to request various objects from her friends: bandages from Cleo, distilled water from Lagoona, and a thermometer from Abbey and Frankie. Curious, the four girls follow Venus to discover she needs the items to nurse a sick tree. And not just any tree, but the oldest, still-living tree at Monster High. Venus confides that something is wrong with his roots, but she doesn't know how to help him. Frankie suggests they ask around for someone who does know how to help a dying tree, which reminds Venus of Mother Nature.
The group, and Cleo, go to a quiet pond in the middle of a forest so Venus can communicate with Mother Nature. The old entity imparts that Venus and her friends recall their good memories of the tree and love it back to life. The girls immediately call Cleo and get her to gather the entire student body around the tree.
The students are initially skeptical about their need to be there for the tree, until Venus reminds them that the tree symbolizes their history. Spectra remembers the great stories she wrote under the tree, Manny notes he lost five soccer balls to the tree's branches, Ghoulia thinks back on all the times she studied under the tree, and Draculaura and Clawd recall how the tree was part of their first date. As the students share their individual experiences with the tree, his roots plunge back into the soil and leaves sprout from his branches. With no doubt that the tree has been revitalized, the students celebrate. [Source]
Cleo and Toralei are both after the part of Gorothy in the school production of The Wizard of Ooze. Before the auditions, Toralei notes that the role of Gorothy is for a young girl and that Cleo is too old to stand a chance. Worried, Cleo grabs for a bottle filled with water from the Fountain of Youth that she got from her great-great-grandmother and turns herself a suitable younger age with a drop or two.
At the auditions, Mr. Where is greatly impressed by Cleo's performance. Toralei doesn't trust the matter and follows Cleo backstage. She sees Cleo gain age as the water's effect wears off and then sees her become younger again by applying the water. Toralei confronts her and demands the water to be used on her too. Cleo refuses, leading to a struggle between the two for the bottle experienced by Abbey and Frankie. Predictably, the potion slips from their hands and spills the water all over the two girls, turning them into "monster babies". On top of that, the amount of water also means they'll stay like that for much longer than Cleo was merely younger. There is a cure, but Cleo's great-great-grandmother will have to send it to her, and callbacks are in two minutes.
The girls decide to tell Mr. Where what happened. Blaming each other for the accident, they begin to fight again. Mr. Where draws their attention by claiming they are both perfect for the part. Confused at first, Mr. Where elaborates they will take the role of the Grunchkins, which the Toralei and Cleo grudgingly accept. The role of Gorothy is given to Venus. [Source]
Clawdeen angrily takes her friend's iCoffin away, but one glimpse at Angry Ghouls has her entranced like Draculaura. From there, the spell quickly spread, and before long, everyone is playing Angry Ghouls, teachers and students alike. The only one who stays clean is Robecca, whose worry about the situation rapidly rises as classes become video game mass-sessions and everyone, but she starts getting bad grades. This includes Ghoulia Yelps.
Aware the situation is out of her league, Robecca approaches Ghoulia and removes the batteries from her iCoffin, thus breaking the spell. Ghoulia, in turn, creates a virus to inflict on all the iCoffins at school so that Angry Ghouls becomes unplayable. For a moment, it seems everything is back to normal, but then Deuce Gorgon announces the release of a new game that is even better than Angry Ghouls. In moments, the school is caught up in the new video game, leaving both Ghoulia and Robecca highly unamused. [Source]

Catrine, Cleo, Venus, Jane, and Jinafire are getting ready for the Gloom and Bloom Dance, trying on outfits and making them. When Jane is trying in her outfit, she claims that it would be better if her hair wasn't monstrous. Jinafire replies that it is her tail that is too long. This leads to Catrine saying her ears aren't pointy enough, and Venus wishes her complexion was greener. Opposing, Cleo believes that she is too beautiful. Marisol, who has been hearing the ghoul's, tells them to be quiet and stop worrying about their 'imperfections', so loudly it scares the ghouls. Cleo asks her if she had never wanted to change something about her aesthetic, and Marisol, embarrassed, tells them the story of how, before, she was unsure about the size of her feet and tried to hide them from everyone, especially from this Bigfoot boy, Sam Squatch, who she is trying to impress. She looks on the internet for solutions and finds a pair of shoes that will make your feet 3 sizes larger! The ghouls are surprised that Marisol was ashamed of how small her feet are since they are gigantic compared to theirs. Marisol continues the story by telling them she had spent all her guinea piggy bank savings on the shoes, but she fell of how big they were on her when she tried them on. Sam, who saw everything, helps her out and asks her for a dance. They dance happily, and Marisol tells the ghouls that he liked her for who she was, regardless of how she looked.
The next day, the ghouls meet Marisol in the halls and thank them for their wise words in order to make them love themselves more. Cleo seems to have misunderstood the message, since she comes in the halls wearing gigantic shoes like Marisol's. She trips and her friends help her out, laughing with her. [Source]
The ghouls are preparing Monster High's greenhouse garden for the Gloom and Bloom dance, though Cleo is less than happy about having to actually work. Gil spots Lorna watering the massive flower in the greenhouse center and explains that it's the Corpse Flower, a rare flower that only blooms once every 1300 years and is set to bloom at the Gloom and Bloom dance. He laments that Lagoona won't see it since she's still in Madread, and Lorna admits she feels the same about her boyfriend in Rotland. Suddenly she receives a text from her boyfriend, but she bursts into tears and runs out upon reading it. The ghouls pick up her phone and discover her boyfriend has broken up with her via text.
The dance is in full swing, and Lorna and Gil are having fun dancing. As they discuss how excited they are about the Corpse Flower blooming, Cleo overhears and states that she knew a corpse flower once, and she thinks they stink. Just as Gil wishes aloud that Lagoona was here to join them, Lagoona suddenly appears, and is shocked to see Gil and Lorna together. Draculaura also appears, just returned from her trip to Shibooya, and notes the very awkward atmosphere... [Source]
The story returns to where the last episode left off, with Lagoona returning from her trip to Madread early to attend the dance with Gil, only to find him dancing with Lorna. Gil and Lorna attempt to explain, but Lagoona runs off in tears. Gil chases after her while the other students realize the Corpse Flower is about to bloom...
Gil finds Lagoona at the swimming pool and explains he only took Lorna to the dance as a friend to help cheer her up. Lagoona apologizes for making a scene, explaining she had been looking forward to surprising him and watching the Corpse Flower bloom. Realizing there's still time, she leads Gil back to the garden.
They join the other students just as the Corpse Flower blooms open. To everyone's surprise, they discover a plant ghoul is resting inside the flower. To Cleo's horror, she recognizes the ghoul as Amanita Nightshade.
Amanita is delighted that the dance is thrown in her honor, and she recognizes Cleo in the crowd. When the others ask if they know each other, Cleo angrily admits that she knew Amanita when they were 'tombmates' together long ago. Amanita laughs and calls Cleo a wallflower without a date, but Cleo introduces Deuce as her boyfriend. Amanita immediately takes a liking to him and drags him away for a dance, much to Deuce's confusion.
The night ends with Lagoona and Gil sharing a slow dance, while Cleo and Amanita both fight to dance with Deuce. [Source]
