Tundra Bominable is a 2022-introduced and fiction-only character. She is a yeti and the mother of Abbey Bominable.

Background[]
Tundra and Abbey had been hidden away, living up in Mount Neverest in the monster world for many years, sheltering themselves from the rest of the world.
Personality[]
At first, Tundra Bominable was a very overprotective mother. Due to how yetis have been treated by monster society in the past, she kept herself and Abbey hidden away from the world on Mount Neverest. Her overprotective nature created a rift in her relationship with her daughter, who wanted to see the outside world, but Tundra didn't allow her to do so at first. However, Tundra loves her daughter deeply and is ready to do whatever it takes to help her, especially if she is in trouble. Upon seeing how the world has changed around her, she realized how wrong she was about Monster High and finally allowed her daughter to go to school.
Tundra has also been shown to be caring, kind and understanding, especially after letting Abbey go to Monster High. She is an environmentalist, believing that everyone should do their part to help the planet.
Appearance[]
She is a big sized yeti with light blue skin, short white hair with blue, purple and magenta streaks, large fangs, purple sharp claws and purple horns.
She wears a blue coat, with decorated sleeve cufflinks, spiked teal pants and sandals with furry straps. She also wears an Indian furry and lilac saree with snowflakes printed on it.
Abilities[]
Being a yeti, Tundra's powers are relative to ice and cold temperatures:
- Cryokinesis: She can create and manipulate ice and frost.
- Ice Building: She can build anything, from ice bridges to holographic-looking ice walls.
- Weather modification: She can control the cold weather, this is tied to her emotions, and can lose control of her powers and snow on everything near her.

Tundra isn't married, but she has a daughter named Abbey Bominable, which might mean that she is either divorced or widowed.
Her only family is her daughter Abbey. The two have lived hidden away from the world for many years, until Abbey decided to prove to her that she can control her powers, this led to the two to fight and Abbey left home. After this, Tundra attacked Headmistress Bloodgood at Monster High, believing she was keeping Abbey there, then Abbey appeared and stopped her mother, who was relieved to see she was okay, but grabbed her to take her back home. After talking with Abbey and the Boo Crew, Tundra saw how wrong she was about the world and allowed her daughter to study at Monster High, restoring their relationship.
Pets[]
At some point, she let Abbey have a pet woolly mammoth named Shiver (called Tundra in merchandise).
