Plot[]

Part 1[]

Draculaura is not having a good night. First, her alarm doesn't go off, and she wakes up late for the Fear Squad practice. Desperate to make it in time, she almost leaves her dorm in her pajamas, until Count Fabulous reminds her of it, so she uses her witch magic to change into her fearleading outfit. Then, her bag's latch breaks, making her things fall out of it, much to her frustration. While Draculaura takes her belongings, she doesn't realize she drops the latest potion she was working from the desk, and accidentally puts in in her bag, then she leaves. She arrives in the casketball court late for the practice, as Clawdeen, Clawd, Toralei, Iris and Kuma are already practicing. Toralei makes a big deal out it and suggests for her team to have Draculaura steps down. Of course it doesn't happen. After practicing, Draculaura leaves the court with Clawd, but while she walks away, her potion falls from her bag, falling in the court's floor. After such a bad night, Draculaura is in her dorm and decides to relax doing some witchcraft. She looks for her potion but can't find it. Clawdeen and Frankie enter their dorm right after, she asks her besties if they have seen the potion, but they haven't. At that moment, the Skullette P.A. System makes an alarming announcement, Draculaura's witch potion has been found, leaving her horrified.

In the casketball court, the area where the potion is laying is surrounded by caution tapes. The students of Monster High are gathered around the potion when Headmistress Bloodgood arrives. Discovering someone in the school is practicing witchcraft, the Headmistress claims whoever is doing it will be expelled, much to Draculaura's fear. Toralei is very delighted with the situation, seeing it as a chance for Draculaura's secret to finally be exposed. To find the witch, Bloodgood decides to call the Monster Parent Association (M.P.A.), which consists of the parents of some of the students. Deuce is not amused with this, because his mother Medusa and his stepmother Lyra are members of the M.P.A., and Medusa keeps telling Deuce her stories of her times as a student in Monster High over and over. Frankie asks Deuce if his mother has ever mentioned something about the Gorgon Talisman, one of the talismans the Boo Crew need to bring Selena, Clawd and Clawdeen's mother, back from Beheme. Deuce claims his mother never mentioned it, but they can ask her when she arrives.

Things get worse for Draculaura, because her father Dracula is also a member of the M.P.A., so he will come as well. In their trio's dorm, Draculaura panics with the fact that her father might discover about her witchcraft practicing like this. He always wanted her to follow his steps and become the next PFFT (Premiere First and Foremost Top-Monster), she also explains that when a vampire decides something, they don't change their minds, no matter what is decided. Clawdeen asks her friend if she will tel her father the truth now, and the latter responds there's no way she will do it during a witch hunt and, as the PFFT, he has to uphold the rules. So the two girls decide to find out what the M.P.A. will do. Later, the M.P.A. arrives, consisting of Dracula, Medusa, Lyra, Tundra, Die-ana and two sea monster parents, Bloodgood and Mrs. O'Shriek join them too. Clawdeen and Clawd's father, Apollo, was also called for the M.P.A. meeting and arrives to Monster High with cookies to make a good impression. The M.P.A. is in shock with a human in the school, and talk in private for a bit. The rules say humans aren't allowed in Monster High, but they also say that all parents must be allowed in the M.P.A., so no matter what they do, either way they break one rule. They eventually allow Apollo to join the M.P.A., so they all go to the Clawditorium.

In the Clawditorium, Clawdeen and Draculaura are spying the M.P.A. meeting from the catwalk. Apollo is sharing his cookies with the monster parents, who are enjoying it, and Clawdeen is happy to see her father getting along with the monsters. Seeing that the M.P.A. let a human in, she believes they might also bend the rules for witchcraft, until the Headmistress claims they will never bend the rules for witchcraft. Apollo asks her why witchcraft is banned, she responds it is because of "the incident". Then Dracula explains that long ago, a plant monster named Mrs. Crabgrass arrived in Monster High. She had her own monster abilities like any other, but she wanted more, so she used witchcraft to steal other monster powers. She became the headmistress and tried to take over PFFT to subjugate monsters, but they managed to evade her spell and stop her, but it was barely. This made the monsters believe witchcraft is dangerous so they banned it to make it sure no one try to do evil with it again. Draculaura knows that some witches are evil, but this doesn't mean witchcraft itself is bad. The M.P.A. decides to split up to cover more ground, the Headmistress gives the parents walkie talkies to communicate with each other.

Draculaura needs to make sure her father doesn't find out she is the witch, so Clawdeen offers to distract her father. Medusa is willing to find the witch first, because of the gorgons' motto of always winning. The parents leave the Clawditorium, then Medusa and Lyra meet with Deuce and Frankie. Medusa, like any mother, treats Deuce with affection but embarrassment, Deuce makes her stop and asks her about the Gorgon Talisman. His mother gets visibly nervous, while Lyra comments that Medusa used to wear the talisman around her neck all the time, but stopped wearing after their graduation. Deuce's mother just claims she misplaced it, she wants to focus on finding the witch first, which reminds her of when she beat Monster High's rival casketball team on her own. Deuce knows it and asks his mother when she saw the talisman for the last time, she nervously says it was in the school, then she and Lyra leave for the witch hunt. Then Frankie finds a picture of a teenager Medusa in the trophy case and sees that she is wearing the talisman in it. They then get the idea of using Medusa's stories to retrace her steps and find the talisman. Deuce's snakes don't want to, but he puts his cap on, claiming he will help Clawdeen.

When the two leave, Apollo leaves the Clawditorium and meets up with his children, who hug him warmly. He isn't sure he can help in the witch hunt and Clawd offers for them to show him around the school. While searching, Dracula takes some time for the students who are fans of him. Then he meets with Draculaura. They hug warmly and he asks his daughter help to find the witch, to her concern. They go to the casketball court, where Dracula inspects the bottle with Draculaura's potion. Toralei arrives, claiming she wants to help Dracula in the witch hunt, to his daughter's fear and anger. Toralei realizes the potion is in a Fang-ta bottle, a soda Draculaura drinks, but the latter denies it. Dracula pulls out of his pocket a detector that detects residue of witchcraft. The detector points to Draculaura, to her fear, so she claims its pointing to behind her. Dracula runs to find the source, Toralei follows while Draculaura quietly casts a spell to make a gum appear in the ground, making Toralei's shoe get stuck and then she falls. Draculaura and Dracula go to the school halls, where the detector detects witchcraft from the trio's dorm. So Draculaura casts another a spell quietly to make the detector goes to the other way. Then Toralei walks to their direction. Before Dracula can see her, Draculaura casts another spell to make a giant bookcase cover the hall, so she and his father take the stairs. Meanwhile, Clawdeen and Clawd are walking around the school with their father, who is catching the attention of the students. Some try to eat him, but his children save him.

In the casketball court, Frankie and Deuce are looking for the Gorgon Talisman. Frankie asks Deuce what his mother tells him about Monster High, he claims she told him of when she won a great game, during the game she accidentally fell, but got back up and broke the score, winning the game. The talisman is not in the court. The two then go to the Coffin Bean, where Medusa and Lyra first met. Like what happened in the game, Medusa accidentally fell down, but Lyrna caught her. Frankie and Deuce can't find the talisman there either. Then they go to a classroom, Deuce's mother has told she was the first gorgon to graduate in Monster High, like in the game and in the Coffin Bean, Medusa accidentally fell down while walking to get her diploma. Strangely, only then Deuce realizes how clumsy his mother was in high school. Meanwhile, Toralei is in the trio's dorm. She opens the door to Draculaura's witch lair, preparing to finally expose the latter's secret once and for all.

Part 2[]

Dracula is in the graveyard, still looking for the witch, while Draculaura is following him. The rest of the M.P.A. hasn't found anything either. Draculaura suggests for him to take a break, but her father refuses and claims he will not give up. At that moment, the two see Toralei running towards them, carrying Draculaura's witch potions and spell books. Dracula misundestands the situation and believes Toralei is the witch. Draculaura uses her magic to teleport Toralei to inside the school. Now Dracula is sure Toralei is the witch contacts Bloodgood with this information. Toralei is teleported to where the Headmistress is, to both females' shock. The Headmistress is perplexed in believing Toralei is the witch, the latter denies it but the witch objects she has with her make her look like she is. Bloodgood angrily claims Toralei will be expelled, to the girl's fear. In the graveyard, Draculaura feels guilty for what she did, her father is proud for finding the witch, but then Draculaura finally tells her father she is the witch and the potion was hers.

Dracula is in complete shock, and can't believe his daughter would do witchcraft and she would steal other monsters' powers. Draculaura claims witchcraft is more than this, she doesn't steal, she creates things with magic. Her father orders her to stop before it destroys her chance of becoming the next PFFT, then his daughter shouts she doesn't want to be the PFFT, which silences him. Dracula claims he loves his daughter, and likes being the PFFT, and he did everything to make things easier for her, but fears witchcraft will ruin her future and her happiness. She claims witchcraft makes her happy, and the rules are wrong. To show her father how beautiful witchcraft can be, she casts a spell that makes sparkles fall beautifully over them, but Dracula just walks away sadly.

In the library, Deuce still can't believe how he heard his mother's stories for years but realized how much she fell down, which is odd, since she has never show herself to be clumsy. Then Frankie finds a fearbook of Medusa's last year in high school, and shows to Deuce a photo of his mother in her great game. When Deuce looks at it closely, he is in shock. The photo shows that Medusa's fall during the game wasn't an accident, someone put their foot in her way to make her fall on purpose. He then finds a photo of Medusa in the Coffin Bean when she met Lyra, then a photo of when she received her diploma, both pictures show that her falls where purposely caused by her classmates. Turns out Medusa was bullied at school for being the first gorgon to go to Monster High. This information leaves Deuce in shock, as he thought he knew his mother better than anyone, but he didn't. Deuce then has a realization and runs to his locker, and Frankie follows him. His locker used to be his mother's in her school years, and she called it her "safe space". Deuce finds a secret passage inside his locker, so he and Frankie enter it.

In the Coffin Bean, Dracula is sitting holding an eye-scream cone, sadly, when Clawdeen and Clawd bring their father to sit with him and make sure the students won't eat him. Apollo is excited to meet him and asks him about monster cameras, but Dracula is still very sad. He tells Apollo what happened, but saying its his "friend" whose daughter is doing something dangerous, instead of liking the same things as him, he is worried this will ruin her future and asks what his "friend" (him actually) should do. Apollo confesses that when Clawdeen came to Monster High, he was scared too, believing such life would be dangerous for her. But she loves living with monsters, and he has never seen her so happy before. His daughter's happiness is more important to Apollo than his fear, and tells Dracula that what his "friend's" daughter is doing can be safer if he helps her. Dracula realizes he is right and now knows what to do, so he leaves.

With Deuce and Frankie, the secret passage in Deuce's locker leads the two friends to a place where Mortimer the Delivery Dragon keeps lost packages. Deuce then finds a framed picture of Medusa and Mortimer together, turns out she used to hang out there with him. The dragon then moves a box, showing the Gorgon Talisman to the friends. Deuce finds a note from his mother, before her graduation, she left the talisman with Mortimer. Frankie explains to the dragon why Clawdeen needs the talisman, Mortimer understands and agrees to give it to them. But then the Skullette P.A. System announces to release the Expel Beast, a hippo-like creature that expels certain students from Monster High. It comes out of the ground and the Gorgon Talisman gets stuck in its log tooth, the beast runs off and Frankie and Deuce chase it. Meanwhile, Draculaura is sitting alone sadly in her dorm when her father comes in. He apologizes for his behavior, he loves Draculaura and wants her to be happy, and if witchcraft makes her happy, he accepts it. This makes Draculaura very happy and father and daughter hug each other. But their sweet moment is interrupted by the sounds of the Expel Beast's roar. Draculaura realizes Toralei will expelled because of her and asks her father how to stop the beast. He responds only witchcraft can stop it. Draculaura hatches a plan with her father.

In the Clawditorium, the M.P.A., Clawdeen and Clawd are sitting while Bloodgood and Toralei are on stage for the latter's expulsion. At that moment, Catarina Stripe, Toralei's mother and current wereleader after Selena went missing, arrives. She is distracted by talking to someone in her ICoffin. When she ends the call, she is mad at Toralei, but mostly because she made her come to Monster High, she is more focused on her own things than with her daughter's situation. Although this is hard for the Headmistress, the rules say Toralei must get expelled if she is doing wicthcraft. According to the rule, the Expel Beast must take the witch student out of the school, and the sudent will never be able to enter or get close to Monster High ever again. The Expel Beast enters the clawditorium, causing chaos, and Frankie and Deuce enter the place too. Before the beast can get to Toralei, magic makes the creature float. The monsters realize it's witchcraft and realize it's not Toralei. This is Draculaura and Dracula's plan, Draculaura is hinding behind the stage making the beast, then other objects, magicly float while Dracula claims to everyone they are not dealing with a student doing witchcraft, but with a witch's ghost haunting the school, and they made a mistake believing Toralei was the witch. Clawdeen, Clawd, Deuce and Frankie realize what is happening and play along. Bloodgood asks what a witch's ghost would do in the school, Frankie responds it might want the Gorgon Talisman, which shocks Medusa when she sees in the beast's fang. Deuce takes the talisman and pretneds to scare the "ghost" away, so Draculaura puts the objects and the beast down.

The Headmistress then asks about the potion and the witch objects Toralei was carrying. Frankie and Clawdeen respond that, since Mortimer accumulates many things, he could have brought the witch stuff after the last dragon migration. Bloodgood asks Toralei if this is true, the latter claims the witch stuff aren't hers and wants to tell it is Draculaura's, but when she sees the latter behind the stage, Toralei realizes she can't let what almost happened to her happen to the vampire girl, so she lies that she found the witchcraft objects in the dragon's den. The Headmistress genuinely apologizes to Toralei. Since a ghost hauting the school is not a student, they can't expel them. Catarina, instead of being happy and relieved Toralei is not a witch, tells her daughter off for making her come to the school "for no reason", then she drives all her attention to another phone call, which hurts Toralei deeply. The M.P.A. members leave, Draculaura hugs her father and thanks him for helping her. Dracula claims he will now fight to change the rules about witchcraft so Draculaura won't have to hide anymore, it won't be easy, but he is well respected, and will do everything to make his daughter happy. Medusa hugs Deuce and apologizes for not telling him about the talisman before, so the two leave with Lyra. Apollo comments it was fun to meet the monster world, but prefers to have his children visiting him in the human world. The Wolf family hug, but are interrupted by students wanting to eat Apollo, so Clawd saves him.
