Trivia[]
- Skelly Vonderbone's name may be a reference to Lisa Vanderpump, who Skelly's voice actor Trixie Mattel is close friends with.
- According to an early leak of the premise of "Flaunt Your Skeleton", Skelly's name was originally going to be Debbie Scary. This name is still used in Amazon Prime's description of the episode.[1] Debbie Scary is a pun on Debbie Harry, the lead vocalist of the band Blondie, whom Trixie is also a fan of.[2] Incidentally, in the fourth episode of Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race (Trixie's debut season), she lip sync battled against fellow contestant Pearl to the Blondie song "Dreaming" and lost, marking her first (though temporary) elimination.
- Skelly's design appears to be inspired by Trixie's own drag style, particularly her extensive use of the color pink and tall, wavy-haired wigs.
