Roux is a light grey gargoyle in the image of a griffin, a creature having the body of a lion, and the wings and head of an eagle. She has pink eyes like Rochelle Goyle.

Roux's name may be derived from Gaston Leroux, the Parisian writer best known for The Phantom of the Opera.
