Volume 2, Episode 12: Monster High wants the spirit staff, but is there any hope of winning when their routine winds up in the hands of the enemy? toralei

Summary

We see the ghouls on the beach talking about the fearleadering competition later that night. A sort of electric eel bites Frankie's hand, but she shocks it instead of the other way around. Gil and Lagoona are in the lake, talking. Gil finally admits that his parents don't want him to see Lagoona because he is from freshwater and she is from saltwater. He then leaves Lagoona who is heartbroken, with tears welling in her eyes.

Later that night, the ghouls and the Smogsnorts team are on a boat in the middle of the lake. The vampires are on first and the ghouls go and see "what a second place routine looks like." To their horror, Smogsnorts is using the ghouls' own routine. Torelei shows up and admits that she stole the routine and gave it to Smogsnorts, which causes Clawdeen to go almost full wolf on her. Torelei and the two catgirls that are with her get on a boat and row away. When it is time for the ghouls to go on, Cleo remembers the chores that Scary Murphey made them do, and decides to use the steps as a new routine. Cleo tells the ghouls to follow her lead, which they do. In the audience, Lagoona and Deuce are enjoying the routine.

After they have finished, Scary Murphey shows up with two bats carrying the Spirit Staff. She apologizes to Cleo and the ghouls for being so tough on them, and she says that she knew they had it in them. She then turns to the crowd and announces that Monster High has won the spirit staff! Ghoulia then hands the Spirit Staff to the three catgirls, along with a cloth to clean it.
