Natalie Villegas is a USAmerican designer employed at Mattel. She's one of the main three character designers of Monster High and joined the project in November of 2010. Presumably inspired by her own Mexican-American identity, she's been responsible for nearly every character associated with the Hispanosphere, if not all. Skelita Calaveras, whom she based on her own cultural heritage, is the character most strongly associated with her. Other trends in her work include skeletons, large wings, and she's responsible for both Louisiana characters.
