- The other known music teacher at Monster High is the Phantom of the Opera. Depending on sources, he either only gives keyboard lessons or more encompassing music lessons, but regardless either, he gives music lessons at nighttime. This music teacher thus might be the one for daytime lessons.
- The music teacher’s appearance may be based on Jerry Garcia, the lead guitarist and vocalist of the band The Grateful Dead. Garcia in his later years bares a striking resemblance to the music teacher. The fact that the music teacher appears to be a skeleton-esque monster supports this, as one of the major motifs and main logos of the Grateful Dead are skeletons and skulls.
