Much like the Ghoulfriends book series, Monster High Diaries is aimed at middle-grade students, and is set in the more familiar Monster High setting that is loosely shared by all other continuities. Rather than a series of interconnected stories like the other book series, Monster High Diaries is a set of stand alone stories, each one focusing on a certain character and an event in their life.
