Manny Taur debuted in the 2022 animated series in the Season 1 episode "Portrait of a Monster", which premiered on November 4, 2022. He is voiced by Jordan R. Coleman in the English dub.
Season 1[]
Manny is seen sitting on a couch at Monster High's Coffin Bean, reading a book with a cup of coffee. When he notices his cup is empty, he stands up just as Mortimer perches on the back of the couch and ends up hitting it with his back. Manny does not see what he bumped into when he looks around and simply shrugs and walks away.
Later, Manny is one of the students trapped in the pocket dimension created by the Monster Camera, having been animated by Frankie Stein's Life Spark, when it takes his picture. When Frankie gets the camera to take its own picture using a mirror, Manny is among the students returned to the normal world in Frankie's bedroom. [Source]

When Clawdeen Wolf discovers clues that lead to the disappearance of her mother Selena within the first volume of An Architectural History of Monster High, she, Frankie, and Draculaura go to get Manny's help and find him in the school library, where he works as a junior librarian. Draculaura explains that, as Manny is the top student just ahead of her in Puzzleology class, she views him as a rival, which he was completely unaware of but considers an honor of a kind. Manny is excited to see the first volume, which has been out-of-print for a decade, of the book series he owns, and solves the puzzle on the paper that was found within it. He explains to the girls that the school was built upon a well of power harnessed through the catacomb labyrinth beneath the school, and entrances to the labyrinth are hidden throughout the grounds. Though Manny wishes to stay in the library and continue reading the book, Draculaura takes him to follow Clawdeen to the werewolf statue entrance. When Clawdeen activates the statue, the three of them fall through the opening in the ground and into the labyrinth.
In the labyrinth, Manny is very scared. When the three of them come upon the bullseye mark on the book's accompanying page and Draculaura points out the rocks strewn throughout the room, he congratulates her on her supposed genius. He deduces that the rocks must be fit together like a puzzle and placed in the empty head hole of the image of a three-headed dragon on the wall. The two of them work together to put together the head and place it in the hole, which opens up the bullseye on the floor and leads to the portal room below. While Clawdeen eagerly jumps down against their warning, he and Draculaura stay behind. When Frankie, Watzi, and Deuce Gorgon find them in the labyrinth and explain the consequences of opening the portal at the wrong time, all of them jump into the portal room, but are too late to stop Clawdeen from doing so. Manny is the first to propel down into the portal room via Frankie's arm, which he screams in terror while doing so.
After Splitzy and Clawd escape the labyrinth and into the school, Manny and the others follow them. When the intruder alert alarm is triggered, Manny and Deuce team up to look for what escaped and stop it. Later, when the students regroup in the hallway with a group of multiplied Splitsees, Manny remarks that the situation escalated quickly as Draculaura perches on his head.
After Clawd and Clawdeen sing the Splitsees to sleep and they are all gathered in the science lab, Manny gently places the final Splitsee in the De-Splitifier. Once it is recombined into a single Splitsee and prevented to multiply by a cap on its head, Draculaura asks what they are going to do with it, to which Manny says not to look to him for answers because most cute, tiny, furry creatures are terrified of him. In spite of this, Splitsee happily jumps into his arms. Manny becomes enamored with it and vows to keep it forever, looking forward to how much more fun fun his shifts at the library will be with a book buddy. Later, at the Coffin Bean, Splitsee runs amok again while Manny worriedly chases after it. [Source]
During the most recent Nightmore, Manny and Deuce excitedly go together to Mount Olympus to "party like the Greek gods", as is their annual tradition, which Draculaura explains to her friends. Later, they returned to school to attend Draculaura's party. He and Deuce moved the punch bowl together, danced as she and her other friends sung, and talked to Clawd before getting buried under a burst of snow created by Abbey Bominable. [Source]
