Volume 1, Episode 3: Lagoona and Draculaura search the school for clues - everywhere from the casketball courts to the pipes! They meet up with Clawdeen and Frankie when they all hear a mysterious sound to investigate. Someone or something is hiding in the closet - what is it!?
Summary[]
Lagoona is selected on the choose-a-character screen. She walks through the school hallways with Draculaura, who asks her if she's checked through all the school's pipes for clues, with the sea monster replying that they found nothing. Draculaura tries to relax herself by referring back to the Hydra Boys Mysteries books, saying that a clue isn't found until chapter three. The two then see Clawdeen and Frankie at the trophy case. Lagoona decides between approaching them calmly or surprising them, and decides on the latter, doing so by running up to them and yelling, "Caught ya!". After managing to startle them, they all continue trying to solve the case, with Draculaura telling Clawdeen and Frankie that they searched different areas, with Drac searching the casketball court, and found nothing. Clawdeen and Frankie share their clues: pink frosting, orange fur potentially from Toralei, and a water puddle. Frankie realizes that Lagoona could be a culprit, as she came from the pipes but has no water dripping from her. Lagoona affirms that sea monsters don't always do that, and notices that the puddle is indeed coming from a leak above. They remove the puddle from their clue list.
They all hear a mysterious whooshing noise. Frankie suspects it came from the science lab, but Draculaura is cautious. Lagoona decides between ignoring the sound or investigating it, and decides on the latter. In the science lab, the quartet spread out to see what they can find. Draculaura suggests they should look for fingerprints, but Clawdeen insists that the fingerprints they could find could easily come from anyone who uses the lab. Just as they all think there's nothing to find in the lab, a door ominously opens. Many noises also coming start coming from the lab's closet, which is shut off; Lagoona busts it open. Inside they find Cleo, who ends the episode by claiming she knows who stole the trophy.

- Like the rest of the Nickelodeon G3 webisodes, this episode's upload on the official Monster High YouTube channel was set to private in September 2024 for unknown reasons, making it lost media through official means.
- This is episode is entirely in Lagoona's POV.
- Draculaura breaks the fourth wall twice in the episode. She first says that in the Hydra Boys Mysteries book series, the first clue isn't found until at least chapter three, and this is the third episode of the webseries. She is then confused by Lagoona doing the video game-style multiple choice system at the beginning.
