Kohl's, fully known as "Kohl's Corporation", was founded in 1946. It started out as a single supermarket, the expanded into a series of supermarkets, to become one of the largest department store chains in the USA. In 2012, it was one of four store chains—Costco, JCPenney, Kmart, and Kohl's—added to Mattel's list of ones that occasionally receive exclusive Monster High dolls in the USA.
