Howleen Wolf is a 2022-introduced and cartoon-only character. She is a werewolf, and a student at Monster High. She is 2nd-in-command in the Werewolf Pack.
Portrayers[]
In the English version of the 2022 cartoon, Howleen Wolf's voice is provided by Victoria T Washington.
Character[]
Personality[]
Howleen is cool, calm, clever, and always says what on her mind. Although she's the second in command in the Wolf Pack, she acts like she's the leader, much to Romulus' annoyance. At first, like Romulus and Barkimedes, she wanted to be friends with Clawdeen just to get her moon claw talisman, but upon discovering the talisman belonged to her mother, she had a change of heart and helped stop the pack from stealing the necklace. After this, Howleen has been shown to be genuinely kind and friendly towards Clawdeen, giving her a brush to help her with her shedding problem, and other students, like her Casketball teammates.
She, like Barkimedes, is shown to not hold a negative opinion of humans, as she had no issue turning into a human under the full moon, and expressed her excitement of exploring the human world.
Appearance[]
Howleen is a slim, cream-furred teenage werewolf with extra tufts on her body. She has long curly hair which has been dyed into a gradient of yellow, orange, pink and magenta (somewhat resembling a sunset), kept in a high-ponytail with bangs (in the artwork, her ponytail is held by a golden hair tie). Her hair reveals her rather large ears with the left flopped down and the right sporting a small, golden hoop-earring with an "H" pendant.
Her eyebrows are colored in a darker shade of her fur, and her eyes are a pale-golden in color with thick eyelashes protruding each. She also sport a brown nose, sharp fangs inside of her mouth, and makeup which consists of shimmering-blue eyeshadow, golden-brown lip gloss, and blue nail polish on her sharp claws. She is shown to be a few centimeters shorter than Clawdeen.
Her outfit consists of two sets of golden necklaces; a studded choker with a paw-shaped pendant, and a simple chain necklace. She wears a cropped, blue-trimmed black puffer-jacket over a tied-up white T-shirt with a silver crescent moon and a paw shape which looks like it was drawn in white paint, both of them placed over a night sky-like color. She wore a set of blue skin-tight shorts with a black waistband, darker blue and hot-pink stripes on the sides, and a pattern of pastel-blue crossbones imprinted all over it. She also wears different-colored fishnet socks (right sock pink and left sock orange) and high-top lavender-pink sneakers with velcro straps, and it is also adorned with golden crescent moons placed on top of her shoelaces, along with golden bones placed on the front.

Being a werewolf, Howleen's abilities are:

- Enhanced Hearing: She has a super sense of hearing.
- Enhanced Strength: She is very strong naturally.
- Enhanced Speed: She can run at high speed.

Trivia[]
- Unlike previous incarnations, despite still sharing the same last name, this version of Howleen is not Clawdeen's younger sister.
- The reason why she isn’t the leader of the Wolf Pack is because she's younger than Romulus, as she stated in "Part of the Pack".
- She has lots of knowledge about monster customs and society.
- Unlike her previous counterpart who is a troublemaker, Howleen is nice to Clawdeen and her friends.
