Volume 1, Episode 5: Monster High Mysteries is back for part 2 with a NEW bonus character - Heath Burns! Heath has to manage his flaming temper when he gets accused of hiding something!
Summary[]
Heath is selected on the choose-a-character screen as an unlocked character. Heath is alone in the Creepateria, where he checks his broken iCoffin and a mysterious broken bone. He then hears strange noises and briefly thinks it was just a fallen chair until the rest of the Boo Crew arrives, frightening him. The gang interrogate him on whether he's the culprit, showing him one of their clues of a scorch mark on the science lab's closet's ceiling. This causes Heath's emotions to shortly get the better of him, but he manages to calm himself down. He claims he did cause the charred ceiling but was unaware of the suspicious EekTok until just now, and thought the scare rally had been cancelled because of the witchcraft rumors (no offense to Draculaura). Heath decides between telling the truth or unleashing the flames of fury, choosing the former after Clawdeen's pleading of not choosing the latter. Heath explains that he accidentally caused the scorch a few days ago when he was gathering materials for his screamhouse gases experiment when he dropped a box of supplies on his foot, hurting him and breaking his iCoffin. Heath is proven innocent and offers to help the others, who apologise and remove him from the suspect list.
They all continue to hear strange noises, which are seemingly coming from the kitchen, with Cleo taking pictures of her scared reactions on her iCoffin to appear more relatable to her followers. Heath chooses between continuing to talk with everyone or investigating, and chooses the latter. As soon as they walk into the kitchen, Heath accidentally walks into Deuce, causing him to drop his cupsnakes. Despite Deuce being heartbroken over this, one of the snakes in his hair, Gluttony, tries to eat one from the ground; Deuce warns that would be unsanitory to do, but Frankie does so regardless. Toralei unexpectedly arrives, claiming she was helping Deuce but dropped some pans; Deuce reveals he needed Toralei's help as Cleo's scarabs kept dropping frosting all over the school. This makes everyone else suspect the pink frosting from the trophy case isn't actually a clue, and remove Deuce from the suspect list. After finding herself on the suspect list as well due to a piece of orange hair found on the case too, Toralei reveals that she actually admires the trophies all the time; she and the two mentioned clues are removed from the list. A crestfallen Draculaura admits that all their clues don't mean anything.
When Toralei tries to leave after checking her iCoffin, Frankie announces that they've been thinking about this all wrong. At that moment, all the lights turn off, and the episodes ends with everyone left trapped in the dark.
