Fynn

Fynn is a 2012-introduced and diary-only character. They are most likely a water-type monster and a resident of or living near Gnarleston. Like their best friend Operetta, they are a music aficionado, and even more than Operetta they prefer to keep to themself. That would be all fine and dandy, but in Fynn's case this is combined with a reluctance to modernize, making it difficult for anyone not living nearby to keep in contact with them.

Character

Background

Fynn lives in a swamp in or near Gnarleston. They met Operetta at a young age and were the one to introduce her to music other than opera as well as personally teach her to play blues and rockabilly. After Operetta and her family moved, she chose to keep in touch with Fynn, who rejects modern technology like computers and iCoffins, by periodically sending them her diaries. Although clumsy, it works well enough for them.

Fynn is tight with Operetta and has been so for years. Notwithstanding her own talent and determination, the phantom owes Fynn a lot in becoming the person she is today. They taught her the ins and outs of blues and rockabilly and to this day put their skill at making musical instruments to use to ensure Operetta always has a custom quality guitar at her disposal. Fynn has built her at least three: one made of cypress, one made of hard rock maple, and another one. On Operetta's end, she makes sure that Fynn always gets the credit they deserve and keeps an eye out to connect them with their idols at those times she gets to meet one, like a werewolf guitar player and Veronica Von Vamp.
