Frankie and Cleo have broken a millennia-old statue, so they are ordered to the headmistress's office. Cleo blames everything on Frankie, which Bloodgood accepts as truth. She then informs the two the vandalism was a good thing, because one of the school's first teachers had been trapped within the statue for ages. She thanks Frankie profusely for her actions, much to Cleo's annoyance. [Source]

After praising Nefera de Nile, Headless Headmistress Bloodgood rides away, leaving the ghouls in frustration, especially Cleo de Nile. But when Clawdeen expresses confusion as to why Nefera would "waste her time with a bunch of high school ghouls" when she has a big career as a fashion model, Ghoulia finds some incriminating articles revealing that Nefera was kicked out of Fashion Week because of her "monstrous" attitude, effectively ending her career in the fashion industry (at least for the time being).

Even still, Headless Headmistress Bloodgood says that they must do what Nefera de Nile says to win Monster Mashionals, which doesn't end well at all. Nefera de Nile presents several terrible routines, and then after delivering a speech about how she could never lead them... replaces the squad with Toralei Stripe and the were-cat twins, Purrsephone and Meowlody. Bloodgood announces that Monster High will be merging with Belfry Prep and Crescent Moon High to share the spirit of acceptance with monsters so opposed to each other as part of an experiment that is to bring all monsters together and eventually monsters and humans. Crabgrass and the students are shocked, but no one opposes the decision. Bloodgood appoints the Fear Squad as the welcoming committee, something that only excites Frankie.

The next day, Van Hellscream shows up in Bloodgood's office. Bloodgood is elated, knowing Van Hellscream as a monster expert and promoter of human-monster relations, but Nightmare is immediately wary of the human. And with good reason, as Van Hellscream is threatened by the idea of monsters getting along and potentially teaming up against humans. He and Crabgrass use Gorgon Powder on Bloodgood to turn her into a statue, while Crabgrass takes on the appearance of Bloodgood so as to manipulate the school from within.

Frankie and Lagoona notice Bloodgood drinking with her finger during the unveiling of a statue, and along with other evidence, Frankie realizes the woman is actually Crabgrass. As the students wonder where the real Bloodgood is then, the statue is unveiled... leaving no guess as to what has happened to Bloodgood. Frankie seeks out Deuce to ask if there's an antidote to being petrified, and Deuce answers he'll ask his mother.

Deuce returns to Frankie with news that there is a powder that needs to be administered during the first new moon and that no one has seen it in a good century. Frankie realizes that the suspicious box she saw earlier in Bloodgood's office must contain the powder, and she enlists Abbey, Lagoona, and Spectra to help her get Van Hellscream and Bloodgood away from the office.

Van Hellscream is aware of all these events and brings them together to work to his advantage. He sets a trap for Frankie and Abbey to capture them and Bloodgood that night, while he sends Draculaura a text message that makes it seem like Clawd wants to talk to her that night at the statue of Bloodgood, and also while he sends Howleen a text message that the vampires are planning to carve "Vampowerment" in Bloodgood's statue that night. Through this, he captures all five in one move and takes them to a place deep inside the catacombs. He explains that he had Draculaura and Howleen captured so that the vampires and werewolves would accuse each other of harming their kin, and that he wants the experiment that is Monster High to fail so that the monsters can never join forces against the humans. By his plan, the werewolves and vampires will be fighting by the time the Skullastic Superintendents arrive and Monster High will be closed. With all that said, he leaves his captives as food for the giant tentacles in the pit underneath their cage.

Right before the fight can commence in the gym, Howleen and Draculaura burst in to tell both sides to stop. The werewolves and vampires are surprised to see their kin well and free, so Bloodgood and Frankie explain Van Hellscream's plan and why Monster High is such a threat to him. Realizing they've been manipulated for awful goals, the vampires and werewolves agree to peace and the entire student body gets together to quickly put up a party to leave a good impression with the Skullastic Superintendents. The plan succeeds, and after they've left, the students and Bloodgood confront and corner Van Hellscream and Crabgrass. Van Hellscream threatens to use one of his many potions and charms against the monsters, but Deuce beats him to it, petrifying both him and Crabgrass. Following this little interruption, the party continues. [Source]

Finding many with a pale bone yet to pick with the burning bother, Spectra invited them all to the office of Headless Headmistress Bloodgood, the dame who would decide on Heath's fate. Her audience was reluctant, but Spectra was no quitter but a deliverer. With a face cast in steel, she interrogated those present on their grudges against Heath, proving that each of them was just as likely to have done away with the statue.

Feeding the tension, Spectra waited for the bubble to burst when Bloodgood received a phone call. Something about statue cleaners, blowtorches and Monday. When the Headless Headmistress was ready to acknowledge the rest of the room again, she gave everyone permission to leave. Spectra left the room content, secure in the knowledge that justice always got the lion's share while she was around. [Source]

Toralei was born as the smallest of a litter of six, which in its entirety was abandoned at a young age. Toralei's siblings got adopted soon enough by a troll couple, but Toralei was left to fend for herself. Being an adaptive kitty, Toralei did just that until her mid-teenage years, when she was arrested and placed into the pound. There she met Meowlody and Purrsephone, her best friends in life ever since, and worked her way to the top of the pound's food chain. Eventually, this situation came to an end to when one day the werecat trio received a visit from Headless Headmistress Bloodgood of Monster High, who invited them to enroll in her school. The trio eagerly accepted, glad to leave the pound and ready to tackle the school's food chain the same way they did the pound's.

The program comes to an end and Spectra anxiously asks Toralei for her opinion on it. Toralei proclaims that she loves it. [Source]

Ghoulia goes to Headless Headmistress Bloodgood's office, where she is told that Bloodgood needs to get her hair done for the superintendent party but that she is also swamped with paperwork. Ghoulia takes Bloodgood's head to get her hair done and brings Nightmare along for the same treatment. When she's done with that task, the brain signal shines brightly in the sky a second time. In this case, Abbey had taken a swim in the pool and has left it too cold for any other monster to use. Ghoulia pays a visit to the dragon under the swimming pool and feeds it a cayenne pepper. The resulting burst of fire from the dragon's mouth heats up the pool as needed. But this does not mark the end of Ghoulia's labors yet. A gargoyle on the school's rooftop has unplugged the WiFi dish, so Ghoulia climbs up there and distracts the male gargoyle with a fake female gargoyle. [Source]

At school, something has everyone talking and Frankie shows Jackson that someone vandalized the school with red paint. Jackson takes his paint-stained hands out of his pockets and explains that Holt must have done it. The two conclude that if Headless Headmistress Bloodgood finds out about this, Holt will be expelled and therefore Jackson too. And even aside from that, Frankie refuses to believe that Holt would just go and vandalize Monster High. They agree to uncover the truth of what happened, which is a mission not made any easier by the need to avoid Bloodgood at all cost. As it turns out, none of their fellow students have seen a thing, but the custodian, Mr. Ogrethor, has. He confirms that Holt was carrying paint out of the back of the school last night. [Source]

Rochelle sits out in the halls with a clipboard. Heath, Manny, and Slo Mo walk out of the headmistress's office boasting about how well they think they did on interviewing for the positions of Hall Monitor. Excitedly, Heath speculates that they will be great officers. Rochelle overhears them and interrupts, disagreeing with them. She explains that the job is to keep the halls clear of any trouble and cannot abuse power. The trio shrugs her off, leaving to practice their "cop walk". Slo Mo treads along at a slow pace, but Heath and Manny pull him out of the scene. Rochelle shakes her head in disapproval, commenting how they do not care for the school genuinely. Bloodgood calls on the next applicant.

Rochelle explains that as a gargoyle, it is her duty to be strong and dignified in her office. The headmistress cuts in and tells her that being a safety officer is not all 'glitz and glamor'. Rochelle replies and says that she doesn't want the job to raise her ego. She promises to not disappoint her and takes the badge.

Rochelle is alone in the hallway later on and admits that it does not feel good to be giving passes to her friends and believes that the job of a safety officer is probably not the job for her.

She returns to the Headmistress's office and is about to return the badge, when suddenly, the ghouls yell, "Surprise!" and yellow balloons fall. The headmistress congratulates Rochelle on passing her test and she promotes her to the head of her new safety team, which consists of Heath, Manny, and Slo Mo. Heath announces, "Deputy Burns, reporting for duty!". His hair ignites when he tries to salute, thus causing his sleeve to catch fire. Manny then grabs a book and tries to put out the fire. Rochelle, shocked, questions how she'll protect the school from the safety team. [Source]

Headmistress Bloodgood takes a look as well and pulls the object out with a pair of tweezers. She establishes that it is nothing more threatening than a splinter and concludes that there are no evil aliens at play. Frankie and Draculaura immediately suspect her of either being an alien or under alien control, which is such a ridiculous claim that they are on the verge of alienating even their friends.

The two consider ending their search for evidence when they spot a track of the same green slime that was in Frankie's locker. They follow the trail to the gym and find what looks to be an alien. Draculaura texts several friends to check it out. When they arrive, so does Mr. Hackington who reveals that the "alien" is just a contaminated lab rat that escaped from its cage. As their friends laugh once more, Frankie and Draculaura accept that they were wrong about the alien invasion. Headmistress Bloodgood meets them at the front doors and requests that they won't spread any more rumors. They agree to comply, but as they walk away, "Headmistress Bloodgood" short-circuits. The alien controlling the robotic copy of the headmistress doesn't mind, as they've already succeeded in their goal of keeping their presence a secret. [Source]

Headless Headmistress Bloodgood has to decide who of the Monster High staff deserves to be the Creature of the Year. She has reduced the candidates to Mr. Hackington and Mr. Rotter, and enlists Frankie and her friends to help pick between the two teachers.

Bloodgood agrees that neither candidate is the kind she wants to hand the Creature of the Year award. Readying herself to start her selection anew with Nightmare's help, Frankie suggests to award her steadfast assistant. And so, Bloodgood announces Nightmare as the Creature of the Year during the ceremony, much to the chagrin of Rotter and Hackington. Everyone else cheers and Nightmare proudly leaves the stage, though not before happily snorting some flames towards the two disqualified teachers. [Source]

Bloodgood volunteers as a fortune teller at the Spring Break carnival, not-so-subtly handing out study advice to the students she won't see for a week. When school gets back in session, she is approached by a human who offers to hold a speech about tolerance. Bloodgood readily accepts and summons the students to the auditorium. The guest speaker, however, turns out to be Bartleby Farnum, an enemy some students made during their vacation on Skull Shores who is out to capture new student Andy Beast. He triggers Andy to take on his giant form, which causes huge damage to the school building. Although Farnum is stopped and Andy saved, the damage to Monster High makes the location unfit for classes. Bloodgood extends Spring Break for another week so the school can be repaired. [Source]

After Monster High's loss from Granite City High in a round of Skultimate Roller Maze, the former has to give away its school crest as per tradition. The result of this is that the school starts slowly falling apart. With all the members of the Monster High SKRM team injured, Bloodgood is preparing for the end of the school. However, a new, all-girl team is formed to pick up the glove. Though girls aren't supposed to play SKRM, Bloodgood supports the new team from the start and eventually sees them reclaim the school crest. [Source]

When several of the students are suspected of committing vandalism to New Salem High, Bloodgood gives them detention. Later, after Frankie, Abbey, Lagoona, and Deuce attempt to and fail to save Jackson Jekyll from New Salem, and Lilith Van Hellscream exposes him as Holt Hyde to the New Salem Sheriff, the Sheriff takes Holt in, but allows the others to return to Monster High to face Bloodgood. She assigns them detention again, and threatens them with expulsion if they go to New Salem High again, before receiving a phone call from the Monster Elder Council to watch the television as the Sheriff announces his plans to execute Holt with the Trick-or-Treatment. Although Bloodgood is shocked by the Sheriff's intentions, the Monster Elder Council strictly forbids her from taking any action to try and save Holt's life, leaving her helpless as she has to follow the Council's orders. A thousand years later, to the present, Monster High welcomes back the students for the new scaremester. Everyone talks about the upcoming events for the year, such as the upcoming occultation (eclipse), while expressing what they wish would happen throughout the new school year. Howleen Wolf, who no longer wants to be an outcast, plans to take more action as so far as to arrange her name in lights while her shadow friend, Twyla, protests against it. Frankie Stein, Clawdeen Wolf, Lagoona Blue, Draculaura, and Ghoulia Yelps spot Howleen and attempt to stop her; however, they are too late and are later punished to clean the school attic by Headless Headmistress Bloodgood.

The shadow ghouls then make their move and help Howleen take over the school by replacing Bloodgood with herself as Headmistress and banishing Abbey and Cleo to the lantern, who then join the other ghouls to find the mirror pieces. The monsters prepare for an eclipse party where Whisp is setting up for Howleen to use her next wish to grant all power to the shadow genie. Twyla follows Howleen and sees that Whisp is the one controlling her. After finding twelve pieces, the ghouls find Whisp’s room and realize she has the last piece. After nearly losing the exit orb, Frankie gets it back and returns to Monster High with the other ghouls on magic carpets in time for the eclipse. Whisp tries to influence Howleen to make the wish, but Twyla steals the last mirror shard and assembles the mirror to break the spell. Howleen awakes in time and rejoins the ghouls without making the wish, causing Whisp to fail once again as the eclipse ends. [Source]

Bloodgood is visited by Lord Stoker, Prime Minister of the Vampires, as he has come to Monster High to pick up Draculaura and take her back to Transylvania as she has been chosen to be the next Vampire Queen. Bloodgood is impressed by Draculaura becoming royalty, and after Drauclaura asks that Clawdeen, Robecca, and Cleo come with her to keep her company since they are her friends and it would be deaducational since they would be able to learn about her monster scareitage in person, Bloodgood grants her request after some thought as Lord Stoker agrees to it himself. Seeing the attention Howleen gathers with Clawdia's stories, Clawd starts to reconsider Clawdeen's point of view. They decide to talk with Howleen before things get worse, but just then Headmistress Bloodgood announces that Howleen will be reading Clawdia's latest story in the clawditorium. The duo races onto stage mid-story to warn Howleen. After a moment of silence, Howleen replies that she—and the whole school, for that matter—knows the stories are made up; Clawdia is a writer, after all, and the students were just genuinely enjoying the stories. As the crowd requests that Howleen continues, Clawdeen and Clawd leave the stage with no little embarrassment. [Source]

At work in the Mad Science Lab with no one around

Ghoulia creates a condition that is truly profound

It sentences her to a dance no creature danced before

A cadaverous cadence that clamors for more

So, out of the lab she dances to Slo Mo's locker

Where both zombies are in for a follow-up shocker

Ghoulia's moves propagate faster than even cooties could have

Spreading to him the discipline of the dance of death

The next twosome to become infected are Venus and Rochelle

A situation that to the other students does not bode well

The rhythmic quartet thrashes through the doors of the creepateria

And soon all of the school is tainted with mass dance hysteria

With staff and students all taken in by the Zombie Shake

There is obviously but one thing they can undertake

A zombie-themed dance at the cemetery fits moodwise

Because at Monster High, the party never dies

Though a bash to remember with grins and delight

Ghoulia thereafter proceeds to make things back right

Returned to the Mad Science Lab she soon concocts a cure

"The Vampire Shuffle, you say? Alright, sure!" [Source]

The ghouls approach the Headmistress with their grievances, with the Lunch Ladies along to watch. Bloodgood explains that her main concern is the lack of space, but she agrees that the food needs to be healthier. She puts the Ghouls in charge of creating a brand new menu. The Lunch Ladies are not pleased with the arrangement.

As they show off the various new foods and fixtures they've added, the Lunch Ladies watch angrily from the new Veggie cart, mocking the fancy new ingredients like carrots, which they think are oranges. They then decide to play a prank and steal the Veggie cart, racing it down the corridors. However, a wheel breaks, and they lose control of the cart, crashing it through several walls before smashing through the wall of the Creepateria.

Bloodgood confronts the two, demanding an explanation. Frankie gets an idea, and says that the Lunch Ladies were creating a doorway to the courtyard outside, creating an outdoor eating area. Realizing this would solve the overcrowding problem, Bloodgood thanks the Ghouls and the Lunch Ladies for their help. The Lunch Ladies thank Frankie for covering for them and serve out vegetables to the students, deciding that the 'oranges' are actually quite tasty. [Source]

Bloodgood is walking Nightmare past the auditorium when she overhears Cleo imitating her for Mr. Where's play on Monster High's history as part of the school's Bite-Centennial Anniversary Celebration, voicing to Nightmare that Cleo does not sound half-bad in her portrayal of the Headmistress, having no idea of the earlier incident that caused Cleo to be fused with Toralei into Cleolei. Later, she is presumably watching the final performance of the play alongside Mr. Where, Manny, Abbey, and many of the other students and faculty, and applauds afterwards for a wonderful performance by Frankie, her friends, and the new hybrid students. Bloodgood immediately warns the Freak du Chic crew, which isn't happy with the decision, claiming they're not prepared. Bloodgood asks them to show of their talents. Frankie performs well but Honey gets tangled in her marionette strings, going against Frankie and knocking Toralei over, causing her ball to bump on Jinafire who falls over Rochelle.
