Jaundice Brothers - who won

When Radio KBLOOD announces a contest of which the prize is that the Jaundice Brothers come play at the winner's school's homecoming dance, Ghoulia helps Frankie put together a tape to sent in. As luck has it, they win the contest. [1]

When Monster High hosts its 1361st Annual Charity Talon Show, Ghoulia helps along backstage to keep the show running smoothly.[2] Ghoulia tries out for the Fear Squad, where she needs to impress the demanding captain: Cleo. A remark about "dead weight" has her dropping out early. [3]

Fear Squad - try-outs

Ghoulia's Trigular Calcometry 101 class is hosted by a substitute teacher, Lou Zarr, who does not get along with the class. A conflict with Deuce leaves him petrified, upon which Ghoulia and the other students consider the class dismissed. [4]

Ghoulia and her friends organize a double-surprise party for Frankie and Draculaura, who are respectively having their Sweet 16 (days) and Sweet 1600. As part of the organization, Ghoulia and the others have to reject invitations by both Frankie and Draculaura for a single-surprise party for the other. While not fun, the double-surprise party makes it all worth it. Ghoulia takes the pictures to remember the party by. [5]

Copy Canine - speedwriting

Clawdeen Wolf tries to get the SAT answers from Ghoulia, but Ghoulia won't have any of it. She waits until just before the time's up, then speed-writes her answers down so that Clawdeen can't copy her. [6]

Frankie is leaving a trail of chaos around the school, which Ghoulia deduces to be the result from her neckbolts being put it in wrongly, thus reversing her polarity. She catches up with her friend and fixes the problem. [7]

Cyrano de Ghoulia - holding hands

Ghoulia has her eyes on Slo Mo, but is too shy to talk to him. Draculaura, Frankie, and Clawdeen offer to help her out, but their aid is of such quality that Ghoulia timely decides to go with her own instinct. [8]

When Frankie develops a zit on her cheek, Ghoulia applies acne medication. [9]

There's a school's production of Hamlet coming up and Ghoulia tries to land a role. Her oration in Zombie, however, is not a success. [10]

An eyeball fight breaks out during Biteology and Ghoulia participates. [11]

Ghoulia is present at school when Headmistress Bloodgood announces that Irene Maiden has been freed. [12]

It is both Friday the 13th and Halloween, a rare occurrence that spells bad luck galore until three o'clock. Cleo hands Ghoulia an amulet that will protect them, refusing to carry it herself because it doesn't go with her outfit. Ghoulia uses the amulet to make it safely to the big clock in the hallway and put it forward to three o'clock. [13]

Frankie and Lagoona walk through the gym, checking out other students' projects at the Mad Science Fair. Exhibits they pass by include a replica volcano with creatures inside and a tank containing a tentacled creature, which snatch away Herbert. None of those can match the giant, pro-environment contraption that turns trash into "clean, green fuel" they notice next though. Frankie and Lagoona do not doubt this is Ghoulia Yelps's science fair entry, but Cleo shows up to 'correct' them, claiming it's her project. She clearly does not know what the machine is or does, but goes on to say it will make her the queen of the Mad Science Fair. She gestures toward a pink, shell-encrusted chair atop a column covered with a large piece of cloth, claiming it will be her throne. Lagoona attempts to tell her it's not a throne, but Cleo refuses to listen.

The girls find Ghoulia, who is paradoxically standing in front of a rather pathetic-looking project titled "The Effects of Water on Toilet Paper." The girls realize that Cleo forced Ghoulia to trade projects, something Ghoulia is obviously not happy about. They are outraged and tell Ghoulia to stand up for herself. Ghoulia just shakes her head sadly.

Meanwhile, Headless Headmistress Bloodgood awards Cleo the first place trophy. The girls comfort Ghoulia as Cleo rushes by, climbing up the column to the pink throne. As Cleo sits down with pride, Lagoona reiterates that the chair isn't a throne and reveals that it is actually her science project: a rehydration chamber. By pressing a button, the pink chair is dunked into the column of water underneath the cloth, soaking its occupant. Feeling that Ghoulia is entitled to a little payback, Lagoona offers the controls to the rehydration chamber to her friend, who eagerly presses it, dunking Cleo. And again. And again. And again. Frankie smiles, saying that she hopes Cleo is wearing her waterproof mascara, because "this could go on all day." [14]

Frankie and Draculaura are surprised by Clawdeen when they walk into the library and dragged along to a table where Ghoulia is reading a book about vampires. Draculaura is not impressed since she, being a vampire, already knows all about vampire life. However, the part about vampires that has Clawdeen excited is their ability to turn into a bat, which Clawdeen remarks she never has seen Draculaura do. Frankie further reads that the ability does require sufficient age. [15]

Clawdeen and Lagoona walk down the hall, talking about Clawdeen's upcoming track meet. She explains that she almost couldn't make it because her little brother bit her leg, but she is determined to run and win. As Clawdeen says this, the two pass by Cleo and Ghoulia at their lockers. Cleo partially overhears Clawdeen, catching the part about running and winning, which Clawdeen happened to utter while in front of a poster announcing the Scream Queen election. Cleo assumes this means Clawdeen is competing in the Scream Queen election, which annoys her since she thought she was running unopposed.

To ensure her victory, Cleo decides to spread a rumor about Clawdeen and writes a text stating: "Clawdeen, out standing in a field, got a major case of carnivorous fleas and is out of the running. Save your vote. Don't tell anyone." In order to cover her tracks as the rumor's source, she sends it to Draculaura, a notorious "gossip ghoul" who is sure to spread it around. True to form, Draculaura forwards the message to Frankie, reasoning that she's "not just anyone", but makes a typo in the process. Frankie receives the text, but is confused that it says, "Send to anyone." She bumps into a student and gets splashed with water, fritzing out the phone. She hits "Send to all".

Later at the Scream Queen election, Mr. Where prepares to announce the winner, starting off that she owes her victory to "the best viral text campaign in Monster High history". Cleo prepares to claim her prize, but instead of she, Where announces that Clawdeen has won. Cleo is outraged and wonders aloud how this could have happened. Deuce tells her that everyone voted for Clawdeen because of her campaign, which he reads to Cleo: "How to choose? Clawdeen! Outstanding in her field. Will have a school carnival. Free if you vote." Clawdeen rushes up in disbelief, stopping only to tell Cleo what a surprise this is because she wasn't even running. As Ghoulia watches on amused, Cleo loses herself to frustration. [16]

Clawdeen, Draculaura, Ghoulia, and Lagoona sit in the bleachers in the gym, minding their own business while the track team practices. Heath Burns runs by, goading the girls to pay attention to him. None of them takes it well, and Clawdeen in particular points out that she's a much better runner than Heath is. Heath merely laughs, claiming that girls are too delicate to run track and that he can beat Clawdeen with minimal effort. Clawdeen warns him that 'today' is not a good one to challenge her to anything involving physical capabilities, but Heath ignores it and establishes that the first one around the track twice wins. The loser will be condemned to clean the Pit of Horror. Later, Heath is at work in the pit and is approached by a monstrous creature. He screams, while on a ledge above him the girls laugh. [17]

Mr. Rotter hands out the students' graded papers. Cleo's paper has a B+ for her work, which she considers too low for all the studying she did for it. Draculaura points out that Mr. Rotter just never gives A's and that there's nothing anyone can do about that, but Cleo disagrees and pulls out an idol that belonged to "Pharaoh Notalotincommon." It is a magical artifact that gives the wielder the power of persuasion when rubbed. Clawdeen questions the wisdom in using the idol, because according to Cleo's dad, all the artifacts in the De Nile household carry a curse. Cleo tells her and the rest of her friends not to worry. She walks over to Rotter and first tries to get a better grade by just talking to him, but when he won't budge, she uses the idol and gets an A+.

Later in the hallway, the girls warn Cleo once more that she is taking a risk by using the idol, but Cleo won't have any of it. The group turns the corner and the hallway turns out to be too crowded to walk through, so Cleo rubs the idol again and everyone moves out of the way. From this point on, Cleo begins using the idol for various benefits that, unlike her A+, she doesn't deserve. She persuades Headless Headmistress Bloodgood to erase their homework assignment and fellow students to serve her lunch. Her friends observe this warily, still convinced there is going to be payment.

At the end of the day, Cleo returns to her locker, bragging about her flawless day and telling the girls that the idol wasn't cursed after all. She tosses the idol into her locker and closes the door, unaware that the the idol glows red. A red bolt zaps Cleo as she walks away. She feels funny and turns around, asking her friends why they stare at her. Lagoona just hands her a mirror, allowing Cleo to realize for herself that she is completely bald. Cleo screams loud enough to break all the glass in the school. In her locker, the idol laughs. [18]

Cleo was partnered with Deuce in a gargoyle egg-watching assignment, like everyone else. [19]

Ghoulia is standing in the lunch line and looks out over the creepateria to a table occupied by Heath, Deuce, Gil, and Slo Mo. Slo Mo waves at Ghoulia to come to his table. Frankie appears next to Ghoulia and encourages her to take the invitation, but Ghoulia is nervous. Frankie promises to come with her so she won't be the only girl at the table and will have a friend around.

At the table, Slo Mo and Ghoulia are both too nervous to speak. Frankie and Gil respectively encourage them to get a conversation going, which they attempt to and fail at at the same time. As Frankie thinks up another way to help Ghoulia, Heath suddenly starts heavily flirting with her. It doesn't take long before Frankie flees to the bathroom with Ghoulia in tow. Frankie apologizes to Ghoulia because she doesn't think she can stay at the table as long as Heath is being Heath. Ghoulia understands, but comes up with a plan that might be of benefit to the both of them.

Back in the creepateria, Frankie asks Heath to switch seats, unbeknownst to Heath placing him under a sprinkler. Frankie claims the lighting at his new seat brings out the red in his eyes, which literally fires Heath up and gets the sprinkler activated. As Heath gets an involuntary shower, Frankie, Ghoulia, and Slo Mo laugh. Frankie continues to entertain the group, holding up carrots to her face to pretend to be a vampire and saying she'll get some villagers. Heath comments that she's funny and that he likes funny girls, again flaming up and again activating the sprinkler. Everybody laughs again, and Slo Mo places his arm around Ghoulia. Ghoulia, happy to finally connect with Slo Mo, gives Frankie a thumbs-up. [20]

TV specials[]

Ghoulia joins Cleo De Nile for most of their run-ins with new student Frankie Stein during Frankie's first week at Monster High, acting as a secretary for Cleo. On Tuesday, she attends class with Cleo, Frankie, Draculaura, and Deuce Gorgon with Mr. Lou Zarr as their teacher. After class is dismissed, Ghoulia finishes the math problem that Zarr dozed off in the middle of discussing, letting off a bemused zombie laugh afterwards, and gives him a tap on the shoulder to wake him up before leaving after the other students to show she finished the problem. On Wednesday, she is with Cleo during Fear Squad tryouts, and when Frankie's foot flies off during her performance, it lands in Ghoulia's drink, splashing Cleo, and causing Cleo to emit a scream that could shatter glass. Ghoulia joins everyone on Friday for the concert performed by Justin Biter arranged by Frankie, dancing with fellow zombie, Sloman "Slo Mo" Mortavitch. [21]

Why We Fright - there there

Ghoulia records a practice session of the Fear Squad until Cleo asks her to get her something to drink. When she returns, she is promptly tasked to help prepare fearleading try-outs. [22]

Ghoulia and Cleo have finished promoting the Fear Squad try-outs and are on their way to the gymnasium to meet the new recruits that Cleo is certain have gathered. Bar Frankie, the gymnasium is empty. [23]

Ghoulia learns that one of the Gloom Beach judges is present at the casketball match and informs Cleo. [24]

Varsity Boos - zombies dance

Ghoulia provides technical support for the Spirit Rally. Later that evening, she dances with Slo Mo. [25]

When the Fear Squad tries to get into Gloom Beach the wildcard way; by creating a fearleading video and getting it a million hits on FrightTube in two days, Ghoulia is put in charge of the technical matters. [26]

The Fear Squad's video has barely gotten any hits, so the team tries to promote it. Due to Ghoulia's help, they manage to lure in a big audience and reach 999,999 hits. However, FrightTube chooses that moment to crash. [27]

Fatal Error - panic is here

The Fear Squad anxiously looks on as Ghoulia tries to do something about the crash. Despite her best efforts, the clock strikes 3:00 PM before she succeeds. Cleo tearfully thanks her friends for all they've done, but the mood is promptly improved when Deuce delivers the news that FrightTube crashed because of all the traffic to their video. Rather than a million hits, they've got two million hits. Their Gloom Beach invitation follows soon after. [28] To her dismay, Ghoulia finds that the Fear Squad will be staying in a decrepit cottage. [29]

Witch Trials - beach trust

When Scary Murphy hands the Fear Squad a list of chores to do, Ghoulia helps along. [30]

After finishing the chores, Ghoulia and Cleo work out a routine while the rest of the Fear Squad relaxes at the beach. The Fear Squad gathers at dusk to memorize the routine but they are watched by the werecats. [31]

Road to Monster Mashionals - start polishing

It is discovered only at the competition that the werecats stole the Fear Squad's routine and gave it to Smogsnorts. Cleo uses the movements from the chores Scary Murphy had them do to improvise a new routine, which wins them the spirit staff. [32]

Ghoulia and the rest of the Fear Squad have become a target of revenge for the werecats. First they are splashed with water just as a fearbook photo is supposed to be made, and then Cleo is tricked into agreeing to stay at Monster High on the night of Friday the 13th. [33]

Frightday the 13th - birthday party

Ghoulia joins Cleo in spending the night of Friday the 13th at Monster High. They encounter a monster roaming through the school, but it turns out to only seek people to celebrate its birthday with. [34]

Ghoulia manages the line of students wanting Cleo to sign their copy of the fearbook all morning. She then accompanies her friend to her locker, which they find stuffed with balloons. Ghoulia spots a suspicious hair and begins an investigation. [35]

Having discovered that the werecats are behind the odd events of the day, Ghoulia tells her friends. They confront the trio and learn that they plan to pin the blame of a stink bomb on the Fear Squad so that they'll get expelled. While her friends collect the bomb before it drops, Ghoulia hacks the school system to up the werecats' math credits and get them forcibly sent off to the Trigular Calculometry Summer Math Camp. [36]

Cleo walks out of the school with Ghoulia, to whom she rants about how her father may not know that her iCoffin is broken because he'll only use it as an excuse to praise her older sister, Nefera. Cleo illustrates the family relations with a story of how once Nefera threw a party and blamed it on Cleo, thereby ensuring that Cleo never again may host a party herself when her father is not around, like is the case at the moment. The ghostly entity behind the Ghostly Gossip overhears Cleo, but only partly, and sends out an announcement that Cleo's father is out of town and that there'll be a party at the de Nile residence that night.

The announcement spreads quickly and Cleo's immediate group of friends arrives early that evening to help set things up. It isn't until a couple of hours later, when the party is already in full swing, that the girls realize that Cleo and Ghoulia aren't present. Draculaura explains that Cleo is probably buying a new iCoffin because her old one broke, making the girls realize that the party announcement did not come from Cleo and that therefore they broke in. They are just discussing how to end the party when Cleo and Ghoulia arrive. Against expectations, Cleo thinks her friends threw a party for her and is ecstatic. [37]

The party at the de Nile residence is going strong, much to the delight of Cleo. Clawd is locked in a pizza-eating competition with a hydra. He wins, but rather than congratulate him, Draculaura refuses his company and runs away. Elsewhere, Slo Mo prevents Heath's attempt at music by destroying his guitar. Both events are witnessed and reported on by Spectra Vondergeist on the Ghostly Gossip. [38]

Ghoulia is going through her Dead Fast sketchbook in the shadow of a tree, gloomily sighing every so often. Her friends take note of her odd demeanor, which Cleo can explain: Ghoulia's parents won't let her go to Nekrocon, despite that she'd been looking forward to it the entire year. Missing out on the experience is one thing, but by not attending, Ghoulia also can't enter the raffle for Dead Fast #0, the rarest of all Dead Fast issues. However, talking about Ghoulia's misfortune gives Cleo an idea.

Paging through her sketches, Ghoulia nods off. Her dream takes her to Nekrocon, where she is dressed up as her Dead Fast OC: Ms. Dead Fast. She is just in time for the Dead Fast #0 raffle, but it seems the contest can't take place. Right before the crowd's and security's eyes, a villain known as the Shadow Poacher steals the comic issue and announces he will severly damage it. Luckily for every Dead Fast fan and comic book lover in existence, Ghoulia is present, and she's not only dressed as Ms. Dead Fast but even inherited Dead Fast's power of superspeed. With it, defeating the Shadow Poacher is almost an effortless enterprise. Ghoulia returns the comic issue in mint condition and is cheered on by the Nekrocon crowd.

Ghoulia wakes up and immediately notes that something is different about the sketchbook in her hands. Poking out from its pages is Dead Fast #0. Confused as to where it came from, it is clearly meant for her and Ghoulia is beyond herself with happiness. From afar, their mutual friends compliment Cleo for her gesture. Cleo insists it's nothing, since winning a raffle is easy when you have 10,000 servants to enter. Since she also has a reputation to think of, she does not want anyone to tell Ghoulia, that the comic issue is a gift from her. Her friends don't object. [39]

At their lockers, the ghouls discuss being back in school when another text from the Ghostly Gossip, showing a picture of a frozen Heath. When the first bell rings, Frankie questions where Lagoona is, which Cleo replies that she's probably with Gil, as the two haven't seen each other all summer. [40]

Frankie and Abbey both go into stalls, and they see Toralei and her gang come into the bathroom. Toralei says that she couldn't believe that Frankie and Abbey were unaware that she started the snowball fight. Frankie and Abbey plot revenge when they hear that they're planning to throw the rest of the Fear Squad in the pool. After Lagoona's swim meet, with the Fear Squad there to congratulate her, Toralei and her friends are just about to push them in, only to slip when Abbey freezes some water on the ground, causing them to slip and grab a lamp to avoid the water in the pool. The bracelets then come off, and Frankie invites Abbey to come with her and her friends to the Coffin Bean at the maul. Abbey says she would love to go with the ghouls. Frankie leans in to hug Abbey but gets frozen solid and the episode ends with the Fear Squad laughing. [41]

[42] [43]

Clawdeen Wolf shows up hyped about two zombie boys, Slo Mo and Don of the Dead fighting over Ghoulia Yelps. Frankie Stein soon realizes that the same thing might happen between Holt Hyde and Jackson Jekyll over her. [44]

After finished praising Nefera de Nile, Headless Headmistress Bloodgood rides away, leaving the ghouls in frustration, especially Cleo de Nile. But when Clawdeen expresses confusion as to why Nefera would "waste her time with a bunch of high school ghouls" when she has a big career as a fashion model, Ghoulia finds some incriminating articles revealing that Nefera was kicked out of Fashion Week because of her "monstrous" attitude, effectively ending her career in the fashion industry (for now at least).

Even still, Headless Headmistress Bloodgood says that they must do what Nefera de Nile says to win Monster Mashionals, which doesn't end well at all. Nefera de Nile presents several terrible routines, and then after delivering a speech about how she could never lead them...replaces the squad with Toralei Stripe and the were-cat twins, Purrsephone and Meowlody. [45]

[46]

When Nefera says that the B-team can't practice on school grounds, Operetta lets them preform in the catacombs in her theatre. After long and arduous training sessions under guidance of Scary Murphy and with musical backup from Operetta, they are ready for Monster Mashionals.

Both A-team and B-team of Monster High earn themselves a place in the grand finale. However, shortly before the match, Nefera approaches the B-team and shows them she has brought along a bag full of charms to turn the tide in her favor. This leaves Cleo convinced that she has no chance of winning against her older sister and the A-team. [47]

As Nefera prepares to cheat, Toralei and the twins confront her—Toralei tries convincing Nefera that she and the twins can beat Cleo and her B-squad on their own (without the use of Nefera's idols). Nefera, however, refuses to listen and continues with her vile plan. Meanwhile, Cleo is almost in tears about how they can't possible beat Nefera with her tricks, but with a little, uplifting speech given by Deuce, she is just as ready as ever to beat Nefera.

While the ghouls are performing, Nefera attempts her idols and charms, to which all are blocked by the ghoul's friends. The first sends a magic spell at the ghouls, but Abbey freezes it in mid-air. The second turns out the stage lights, only for Heath to provide light with his flames long enough for Ghoulia to turn the lights back on. The third summons a royal guard who throws a disk at the Fearleaders, but Clawd catches it before it reaches them. The fourth summons a shadow-like monster that flies toward the stage, but Operetta shatters the idol with her voice causing the monster to vanish.

Nefera is soon reduced to her very last one, which summons a large Scargoyle behind the ghouls. However, Toralei and the Werecat Twins show up and scare it off when they bare their fangs. Toralei (speaking for herself and the twins) admits that as much as they want to win, they'd rather not do it through cheating. The ghouls finish their performance without anymore interruptions and ultimately win Monster Mashionals.

Nefera shows her true colors when she snatches the trophy from the ghouls' hands and starts claiming how since she's the coach, she technically won. But Ghoulia shows Scary Murphy a video of Nefera deploying her idols, to which Scary Murphy not only disqualifies Nefera for cheating, but also has her stripped of all her previous fearleading awards. As the ghouls are lifted up by their friends, Cleo and Toralei (and her werecats) flash a friendly smile at each other.

Special webisodes[]

Cleo and Ghoulia are walking up the steps to Monster High when Nefera appears from the doorway and casually ridicules Cleo's fashion sense. This hits Cleo deeply, and in her anger she insults Clawdeen's choice of new lip gloss. Clawdeen in turn lashes out at Draculaura by claiming her look is outdated, and Draculaura subsequently calls Frankie nosy when the latter asks if she's okay. Ghoulia witnesses all of these and many more fights between girls break loose as a chain reaction of negative feelings. When her friends finally gather in the creepateria yet still won't stop fighting, Ghoulia requests help from the Kind Campaign founders.

The duo gathers all the girls at Monster High in the auditorium and presents them with two questions: 1.) Have they ever been treated badly by someone else?; and 2.) Have they ever treated someone else badly? Everyone present, except Cleo, confesses to both, and the Kind Campaign founders make it a point that each of them has the ability to put an end to the negative feelings. They present the crowd with a special booth which they can enter one by one. Inside is a mirror to which they can confess their true feelings, after which each reflection comes alive for a moment to explain that harsh treatment always hurts but that they can choose not to hurt others. All take the message to heart.

Cleo is the last one to enter the booth, which she does reluctantly, and also the one who stays in longest. When she comes out, she breaks down at the sight of her friends and apologizes. Monster High is back to being a pleasant place, just like Ghoulia hoped it would be. Later that day even, she and Cleo come across Nefera again and rather than insult her back for the earlier remark, Cleo calls her a great older sister. Nefera is actually moved by this enough to act polite to the Kind Campaign founders in return. [48]

TV specials[]

Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Clawd, Lagoona, Ghoulia, and Cleo have an appointment at the Maul to go see TwiHard IV: Abs of Intrigue. While waiting, Ghoulia buys herself a smoothie, but Cleo takes it from her and drinks it herself. Draculaura is late because she and Clawd discovered a sale and Draculaura just had to buy some of the outfits and accessories. Amused, the group makes their way to the theatre where a long line has formed by then, mostly consisting of Belfry Prep vampires and Crescent Moon High werewolves. All of them react oddly on the sight of the group and Clawd theorizes it's because he, as a werewolf, and Draculaura, as a vampire, are friends. Frankie resolves to say something about it, ignoring Lagoona's and Clawdeen's protests. She loudly tells the vampires and werewolves present that Clawd and Draculaura are dating, causing even more muttering, at which point Lagoona finally gets to say she thinks the initial attention was because Draculaura has toilet paper stuck on her boot. The theatre opens and the vampires and werewolves rush inside, trampling the Monster High students, who decide to catch a later show.

At school later on, the student body gets caught in the excitement of an announcement, for which they are asked to gather in the vampitheater. As the students speculate about the nature of the announcement, Draculaura and Clawdeen spot Howleen, Clawdeen's younger sister, looking for a place to sit. Clawdeen invites her over, but Howleen tells her she isn't going to sit with her big sister. Just then, Clawdeen notices that Howleen is using her old backpack and gets angry that Howleen again has been stealing stuff from her. The situation is broken when Ms. Crabgrass shows up on stage and announces that Headless Headmistress Bloodgood will begin her speech. Bloodgood shows up a moment later and cuts straight to the case: Monster High will be merging with Belfry Prep and Crescent Moon High to share the spirit of acceptance with monsters so opposed to each other as part of an experiment that is to bring all monsters together and eventually monsters and humans. Crabgrass and the students are shocked, but no one opposes the decision. Bloodgood appoints the Fear Squad as the welcoming committee, something that only excites Frankie. Later, as the Fear Squad prepares with the help of Ghoulia, Lagoona, and Gil, Frankie is both made clear that everyone is pessimistic about their chances of making werewolves and vampires get along and made leader of the project, as she remains positive and enthusiastic about the matter nonetheless. The group promises to help her as well as they can, including Abbey, who comes in to return Frankie's right arm after she threw it through the window by accident.

The next day, the Fear Squad welcomes the new students and all goes as disastrous as predicted. Cleo finds that the Belfry Prep student body doesn't respect her like the Monster High student body does, and the vampires and werewolves nearly get into a fight with each other. Frankie tries to argue they don't have to, pointing out that Clawdeen and Draculaura are best friends, which only makes the situation worse. Eventually, conflict is avoided by the appearance of Romulus, pack leader of the Crescent Moon High group, who tells his friends that they should not cause trouble on their first day. While this seems like a positive development, it is not. Cleo is deeply insulted by the way she was treated by Gory and refuses to let her and the other vampires on the Fear Squad. As she takes a drink from Ghoulia again, Frankie convinces her that if she accepts the new students, the rest of Monster High will follow her example.

Again later, the group notices that the Belfry Prep vampires are manipulating the Monster High zombies into their service and that the Crescent Moon High werewolves are marking parts of Monster High as their territory. A minor incident over Draculaura brings two werewolves and three vampires nearly into a fight, causing Frankie and Abbey to rush to Bloodgood to discuss a plan before the situation escalates. They come up with a party at the cemetery—neutral ground—to get all groups to socialize.

The party initially is a disaster, as everyone is afraid to be the first to make contact and dance. On Frankie's urging, Clawd and Draculaura go first, and Abbey forces several other couples together on the dance-floor. This eases the mood and more couples form and join in dance and games, making the party a success. All are happy, except Crabgrass, who calls her boss, Administrator Van Hellscream, to inform him there is a problem.

Cleo stops caring about her ill feelings towards the vampires and confesses she just wants her Monster High back. Again, she takes a drink from Ghoulia, but as she looks at her friend and considers how the vampires treat the zombies, she breaks down and tells Ghoulia that she is sorry and that the only reason she sometimes takes her for granted is because she can't imagine a life without her best friend.

Right before the fight can commence in the gym, Howleen and Draculaura burst in to tell both sides to stop. The werewolves and vampires are surprised to see their kin well and free, so Bloodgood and Frankie explain Van Hellscream's plan and why Monster High is such a threat to him. Realizing they've been manipulated for awful goals, the vampires and werewolves agree to peace and the entire student body gets together to quickly put up a party to leave a good impression with the Skullastic Superintendents. The plan succeeds, and after they've left, the students and Bloodgood confront and corner Van Hellscream and Crabgrass. Van Hellscream threatens to use one of his many potions and charms against the monsters, but Deuce beats him to it, petrifying both him and Crabgrass. Following this little interruption, the party continues. [49]

Volume 3[]

Ghoulia, who had specifically come to the gym to see her friends Slo Mo and Don of the Dead play, takes offense at the way they make their points through insults. She challenges the not-zombies to a match against a full zombie team in order to prove the latter's worth. Manny takes her up on her challenge and goes even further, declaring that the outcome of the match will decide who, between him and Ghoulia, will be the dodgeskull captain for the rest of their high school years. Ghoulia accepts without hesitation.

Lagoona and Frankie pull Ghoulia aside, arguing with her that she did the right thing to stand up for her pals but that there is no way the zombies are going to win. At that moment, Manny turns up the ventilation system as part of another insult to the zombies, which gives Ghoulia an idea.

When the match commences, Ghoulia's team is allowed the first throw and Ghoulia takes it, sending the ball bouncing on the floor away from Manny's team. Her opponenets laugh at first, but then Frankie turns up the ventilation system to maximum and Lagoona removes the seal of a pipe. The ball is sucked into the system, hauled upwards and then shot down onto Manny's team with great force. As per Ghoulia's calculations, every member of the opposing team gets knocked down by the ball, ensuring the zombies their victory and permanent captainship over dodgeskull at Monster High. Cleo has Frankie, Clawdeen, Draculaura, Ghoulia, and Abbey over for a slumber party. This is a new experience for Abbey, so the girls summarize all the activities they like to do at a sleepover. Cleo brings up her favorite party game: Gargoyles to Gargoyles, which draws a few weary looks from her older friends.

As the girls prepare for a game of Gargoyles to Gargoyles to please Cleo, she proudly warns Abbey that she is undefeated. What neither Cleo nor Abbey know, though, is that Cleo is undefeated because the other girls let her win, because Cleo is very competitive and they are afraid to offend her by winning. Draculaura, Clawdeen, and Frankie all create their own defeats to get the game over with, but Abbey puts up a challenge for Cleo. The girls take her aside for a moment to explain the situation, but Abbey does not agree with their choice for cowardice.

Back at the game, Cleo and Abbey are at each other's throats, but Abbey is too good or lucky for Cleo to beat. Abbey triumphantly knocks Cleo out of the game and the other girls cringe as Cleo seemingly bursts into anger. But instead, Cleo is actually delighted to lose, because she's been looking for a worthy competitor. She exclaims that they'll be playing all night and the other girls, understanding that they misjudged Cleo, happily join in. [50]

The girls prepare for a class trip to Monte Scarlo. As Frankie voices her enthusiasm, she suddenly sneezes. Mr. Rotter hears this and warns her that if she gets sick, she may not attend the class trip. Frankie tries to assure him and her friends she is fine, but her next sneeze causes three other students to get shocked by her electricity. Cleo warns the others to stay away from Frankie lest they get sick too, and become unable to go on the class trip. Clawdeen apologizes to Frankie for having to shut her out, but then she sneezes too, causing her fur to stand up. Next is Operetta, whose sneeze breaks Ghoulia's glasses as well as the windows, and causes several students to be blown out of the building. Finally, Cleo and Draculaura both sneeze at the time, causing them to be covered in heart-shaped pimples and pyramid-shaped pimples respectively.

As the girls try to think of something to be cured before the bus leaves, Gory mockingly tells of how much fun she'll be having at Monte Scarlo. Abbey warns the girls the bus will leave soon, but they tell her to leave them or else she might get sick too. Abbey informs them the people of her village rarely get sick. Meanwhile, Ghoulia figures out the cure they need is a "monster thistle," which Frankie knows grow in the catacombs. The girls ask Abbey to get it for them, to which she complies.

On the ground floor, Gory keeps teasing the girls and claims Abbey won't be back in time. However, Abbey does return in time and blows the monster thistle's pollen over her friends, who get well instantly. However, since Abbey is allergic to the pollen, the action causes her to sneeze and freeze Gory to the floor. The girls run off to catch the bus, leaving a distraught Gory to seemingly miss out on the trip. [51]

Abbey is sitting alone on Monster High's front stairs, looking at the hills in the distance all forlorn, when she is spotted by Frankie and Draculaura. The two approach her and ask what's wrong, but Abbey denies that anything is wrong. As she's clearly lying, Frankie and Draculaura collect Ghoulia, Clawdeen, and Cleo to see if they can find out what is bothering Abbey.

At the library, Ghoulia finds a book detailing the customs of the village Abbey is from, which reveals that on that particular day the girls from Abbey's village begin a week of lone tribulations in the Himalaya Mountains. Because Monster High's Finals Week is also starting, Abbey can't participate in her village's challenge. The girls feel sorry for her, but Ghoulia creates a plan to help Abbey.

Later, Abbey meets Cleo and Clawdeen in front of the central clock and asks if they want help with Biteology. Cleo and Clawdeen simultaneously state they can't because they have to go to the Maul and the movies, then quickly depart. Even later, Abbey notices Frankie and Draculaura leaving Headless Headmistress Bloodgood's office and tries to get their attention, but they avoid her. Rejected, Abbey doesn't even notice Ghoulia sneaking away from her too.

Abbey makes her way to the creepateria, where, to her surprise, the girls are waiting for her. They reveal that they wanted to surprise her and open the freezer, explaining that they have arranged for Abbey to spend a week in there to at least feel like she's back home. Ghoulia even set up a webcam so she can still participate with Finals Week. Frankie (speaking for herself and the others) explains to Abbey that if something's bothering her, it's okay to tell them about it because, as her friends, they want to help her. Abbey's very touched by what Frankie and the others did for her and the other girls soon leave, since the freezer isn't suited for them. Once they have left, Abbey turns around and pushes two blocks of ice aside, revealing Ricky. She challenges him for a match of arm wrestling, which he accepts. [52]

Ghoulia is sitting on the stairs in front of Monster High and is working on her laptop when Cleo and Deuce pass by. Cleo asks Ghoulia to join them for smoothies, but Ghoulia claims to be too busy. Cleo retorts that she is just sitting around fiddling with her computer as always, but leaves Ghoulia alone with the note that she can meet up with them if she changes her mind. Just as Cleo and Deuce have left, a brain signal appears in the sky and Ghoulia gets up.

Ghoulia goes to Headless Headmistress Bloodgood's office, where she is told that Bloodgood needs to get her hair done for the superintendent party but that she is also swamped with paperwork. Ghoulia takes Bloodgood's head to get her hair done and brings Nightmare along for the same treatment. When she's done with that task, the brain signal shines brightly in the sky a second time. In this case, Abbey had taken a swim in the pool and has left it too cold for any other monster to use. Ghoulia pays a visit to the dragon under the swimming pool and feeds it a cayenne pepper. The resulting burst of fire from the dragon's mouth heats up the pool as needed. But this does not mark the end of Ghoulia's labors yet. A gargoyle on the school's rooftop has unplugged the WiFi dish, so Ghoulia climbs up there and distracts the male gargoyle with a fake female gargoyle.

When Ghoulia replugs the dish, the shock of the reconnection sends Ghoulia flying. Through a series of bounces, Ghoulia lands right back at her spot on the stairs. Cleo and Deuce return with smoothies, and Cleo berates Ghoulia for her choice not to come along with them while she obviously had nothing to do. When the two are gone again, the brain signal appears once more, this time because a beast is busy tearing the school apart. Ghoulia smiles knowingly as she gets ready to help out for the fourth time that night. [54]

Gory is campaigning to be elected for one function or another and is handing out flyers, many of which end up on the ground. Venus picks some of them up and puts them in the appropriate trashcan. She tries to convince Manny to be as considerate with his trash, but he considers it too much trouble. When she tries to encourage Heath to recycle, he refuses. Venus user her pollen persuasion powers to change his tune, but she understands he's only one among billions she needs to convince to take care of the environment.

While talking with a tree outside, Abbey and Frankie overhear and offer to help. The trio goes to see Cleo, because as the most popular girl at Monster High, her popularity allows her to influence the students in a way none of them can. Though Cleo wants to help, but thinks that associating herself with trash would sooner harm her popularity than boost the will to recycle in the other students. She elaborates they need to make recycling seem cool, to which Clawdeen suggests a fashion show.

The girls get to work recycling trash into fashionable dresses, and with the help of some friends they turn the creepateria into a fashion hall. Heath hosts the show, which easily sways the students' mindset on recycling. At the end of the show, the trash in the creepateria is all sorted in the appropriate trashcans, and Venus is happy. [55]

The ghouls go down to the catacombs to see the lab of Frankie's father when he used to attend in Monster High. On their way there, they bumped into Hoodude, who wants to tag along with them. The ghouls refused, but Frankie said that Hoodude was lonely and that she allowed him to come. Clawdeen shows the biggest refusal, saying that there's nothing but trouble everywhere he goes. After Hoodude promised not to touch anything, Frankie Stein convinced the ghouls by saying, "it's the nice thing to do."

After opening the door to Frankenstein's laboratory, Hoodude accidentally reveals a cage containing a small cat. Hoodude asked if it's dangerous, to which Clawdeen replied, "Yeah, dangerously cute!", finding no harm in it. She reaches in to pet it, but the cat suddenly roared, revealing it's massive mouth and rows of razor sharp teeth. Clawdeen tried to pull her arm out of the cage, but her jacket's caught on a nail. In a moment of bravery, Hoodude pushes her aside and is dragged in the cage himself, where he finds himself treated as a new chewtoy. Since Hoodude doesn't feel physical pain, no one was hurt except for Heath Burns, who feels the biting sensation a few floors above the ghouls. [56]

[57]

Outside Cleo's party, the ghouls have Draculaura blindfolded, and when it's removed Frankie says since they couldn't get the dots off they decided to make the party polka-dot themed. Overjoyed, Draculaura wipes away a tear as she says they're the best ghouls any vampire could ask for, and that her stress is gone. And at that moment, so were her dots. The webisode ends with all the ghouls dancing and having a good time at the party. [58]

Spectra floats through school, sadly mentioning that it is a slow news day and that she needs a new story, when she suddenly overhears Frankie on her phone saying she has tickets to a concert. Not refusing a gossip chance, Spectra reports the story, she says as she is speaking aloud before her laptop computer: "She gets to take her best friend", then while typing says: "Her choice to go with will reveal her BFF."

Once the gossip goes live, Cleo assumes it is her, but Clawdeen and Draculaura assume the same thing, following up with Ghoulia, Jackson, Lagoona, and Abbey. An argument starts between all of them, and they confront Frankie, all saying that they are her best friend and they should go to the concert with her.

Confused, Frankie states she's not her best friend, which they all groan sadly to, and Frankie then says she's taking her best friends. Thus ending the feud between all of them, the ghouls then confront Spectra, who admits she only heard half the story and, like always, forgot to hear the important facts, the infamous reporter of the Ghostly Gossip disappears through the wall. [59]

Ghoulia Yelps and Draculaura are then shown in the hallway. Ghoulia tells Draculaura not to let anyone near her machine and Draculaura salutes, promising she won't let anyone near her science project, telling her not to worry. Draculaura's iCoffin then rings and she answers it; walking away from the machine telling the caller to tell her everything and she means everything. Heath then tip-toes to the machine and complains about people telling him not to touch things and then questions it and that he would break it, leaning on the project. He also on purpose pulls the trigger and it turns on. Heath gets surprised and as soon as it is activated, the school's electricity goes out.

Ghoulia is then shown using an abacus and Robecca comments its as fun as Ghoulia's calculator, if you ask her. The next scene shows Clawd playing the flute, Draculaura listening, Heath using a typewriter by candlelight, and Robecca flying down the stairs. Clawdeen then thanks Robecca for helping them, everyone cheering for Robecca after Clawdeen says thanks. Robecca then says she hopes she helped them learn not to be so dependent on technology. As soon as Robecca gets done saying that, the lights turn back on, Clawdeen saying she's gotta go check her messages. Everyone else looks at the lights in joy, putting down the items they were using. Robecca, alone on the staircase, picks up her typewriter and hearing the ding of the typewriter, smiles and hugs it. [60]

Nefera walks up to her sister and the current fear squad in the Maul and asks where they're going. Frankie explains that every year the fear squad works at the Coffin Bean for free, with Clawdeen adding that all the proceeds go to a children's charity. Nefera brags that she still holds the record for the most money earned, but Cleo jumps in and says "until today." Draculaura, knowing what's going to happen, says, "Here we go."

The next scene shows Frankie and Cleo standing next to a device that Frankie explains will keep track of how much money they earn for the charity. It has a tag on it that shows Nefera's record, and Frankie says they need to get a little bit above her record, but Cleo says they should put their goal twice as high as Nefera's. Draculaura's then shown at the counter, getting excited about their first customers of the day, who are Lagoona, her boyfriend, Gil, and Ghoulia. Lagoona and Gil take their orders while Cleo and Frankie make the orders.

Later, Frankie says they've almost beaten Nefera's record, to which Cleo excitedly responds that her sister's record is going to be ancient history. With a line out the door showing a big chance of victory for Cleo, Nefera's shown spying on her sister's success until Toralei comes up to her. Toralei teases that Nefera's record is going to be broken, but then Nefera brings out an amulet that she calls, "Cleo's bad luck charm." Nefera activates the amulet and it does its job, causing much damage in the Coffin Bean, which ends up making the fear squad owe a bunch of money for the damages, and they're back to where they originally started.

Nefera then walks into the shop and says that her sister's attempt was an epic fail, laughing at their failure to break her record. Cleo then says it's over, and Lagoona asks her if she's really giving up. Frankie points out to Cleo and the others that to actually achieve Cleo's goal, they'd have to serve at least 500-customers within at least an hour––when Frankie laments that she herself doesn't even know 500-monsters, Lagoona assures her and the rest of the squad that together, they do. They all start texting their contacts, showing Spectra, Ghoulia, Slo Mo, and Clawd getting some of the texts.

The Coffin Bean is then shown again, full with customers and a line out the door. Nefera, not realizing what's going on first, sees what's happening now, and is angered by her sister's success. Draculaura's then shown giving orders to some of the customers, and then Nefera's shown again when a mob of zombies comes by towards the Coffin Bean. At first, Nefera tries preventing them from entering, but she gets trampled by them. Frankie goes to the device that's keeping track of all the money earned and excitedly shouts that they've actually exceeded way beyond Cleo's goal and made it way past the top of the device.

Everyone celebrates the fear squad's success. Nefera's then shown, the aftermath of getting trampled by the zombies, and Toralei walks up to her. Toralei then jokes that it seems that the amulet was actually her "bad luck charm" rather than Cleo's. Nefera accidentally drops the amulet and it breaks, and then Nefera's shown with a troubled expression, knowing what's going to happen now that the amulet's broken. [61]

The Dance of the Dead is next Friday and Draculaura, Abbey, Cleo, Clawdeen, and Frankie are full of excitement about it. During their conversation, it comes up that Abbey won't go to the dance because no boy asked her to be her date. The girls are flabbergasted, but before they can react properly, Heath approaches. He requests their attention, and specifically Abbey's, for a juggling act. He does well for about two seconds, after which he fails to catch all balls and two even land on his hand. Abbey's amused, but Draculaura sends him away. The girls suggest that Abbey tries speed dating to find herself a date for the dance, to which Abbey agrees.

The girls arrange everything for Abbey, and soon a long line of boys has formed for a chance to be her date. Cleo spots Heath in the line and gets the others to remove him, as none of them believe that he is not trying to pull a prank. Abbey, meanwhile, is rejecting one candidate after the other. With the line growing smaller, Heath returns and burns the clothes of the last candidate, which has him running off to extinguish the flames and the others distracted. Heath sneaks past to Abbey. He has just enough time to ask her to pick him before Abbey's friends send him away. Dejectedly, Heath makes his way to the door but trips, making Abbey laugh. As such, she accepts him as her date.

At the Dance of the Dead, Abbey and Heath are dancing when Cleo approaches them with a drink for Abbey. She asks Abbey why, of all her options, she picked Heath to be her date. Abbey answers that Heath makes her laugh. As if on cue, Heath fiery dance triggers the sprinklers, soaking him. Abbey gives him a friendly pat on the shoulder, accidentally freezing him. [62]

Cleo and Ghoulia travel to school together, Cleo on a chair carried by two servants, Ghoulia by bike. During an uphill part of the trip, Ghoulia has trouble moving forward and even worse, her bike breaks down. As fate would have it, her bike falls apart just in front of a store with a gorgeous scooter for sale. Ghoulia immediately decides she must have it and picks up a number of small jobs at Monster High to pay for the vehicle.

Ghoulia fixes laptops for fellow students, helps out in the creepateria, and fixes up the school's sport fields until she has the money to buy the scooter. With it, she can get to school even faster than Cleo and manages to make a grand entrée. Even Toralei takes an interest in the scooter, which Ghoulia does not like. Worried, she heavily chains up her scooter, but still Toralei manages to steal it. Ghoulia is in tears and tries to get her scooter back, but with it Toralei is too fast for her.

Eventually, Ghoulia gives up and sits down. At that moment, she is approached by Cleo, Clawdeen, and Draculaura, who then learn of the theft and resolve to get the scooter back for Ghoulia. They chase after Toralei until she enters the catacombs, which is zombie territory. Thinking quickly, Ghoulia gives Slo Mo a call to mobilize the zombies and corner Toralei, which they easily accomplish. Upon accusation of theft, Toralei claims she had only taken the scooter to wash it for Ghoulia. Ghoulia takes her up on that explanation and under careful watch by the zombies, Toralei is forced to clean the scooter. Cleo even hands Toralei the werecat's own toothbrush to get to the hard-to-reach spots. [64]

When finally Cleo is done with her explanation, the group realizes they are locked in. They consider calling Ghoulia and asking her to hack the system so they can go home, but Cleo suggests they spend the night instead to ensure they are first in line. Partial motivation to this is the crowd of zombies standing in front of the Maul who also wish to to get in on the sale. [65]

All the guys and ghouls of Monster high are frightfully ready for a night of celebration, everybody seems to have a plan for the new year.

The students count down from three and all shout Happy boo year! Heath salutes and promptly falls over as Spectra catches a picture of him falling. [66]

Picture Day is tomorrow and Draculaura, Clawdeen, Cleo, Ghoulia, and Abbey are looking forward to it. They call each other to talk about just how excited they are. When they call Frankie, they are shocked to learn she isn't at all fazed by Picture Day. They rush to her house to amend the situation with a slumber party fashion show.

All through the night, the girls experiment with the clothes, shoes, hats, and other accessories they brought along to the Stein residence to find the perfect look to be photographed in. While they do succeed, they also take very long to do so and go to bed later then would've been wise. None of them wake up until 8:00, which is when the pictures are taken.

The group rushes to school but arrives only in time to see the school photographer leave. They beg him to stay just a little longer and take their pictures, but he has other appointments to show up on. Seeing the distress on the girls' faces, he notes that he'll be back for other photos next week and that he'll take their pictures then too. The girls are relieved at first, but they panic when they realize they only have one week to pick new outfits. [67]

[68]

Cleo and Ghoulia are at Cleo's house, where they prepare for their double-date with Deuce and Slo Mo. Cleo, as self-centered as usual, keeps taking up Ghoulia's space and stealing her makeup, all the while talking about Slo Mo's intent to kiss Ghoulia that evening. Ghoulia picks up one of the De Nile artifacts to distract herself from her over-present friend, and Cleo subconsciously makes a grab for it too. The artifact falls and releases a curse that switches the girls' identities. The panic is only increased when the boys choose that time to arrive. Cleo decides that they'll fake their way through the date, but that whatever happens, they have to avoid kissing the boys.

At the Coffin Bean, after an awkward attempt by both Ghoulia and Cleo to impersonate each other, the boys both leave to get drinks. The girls quickly go through Cleo's purse to see if there's anything in it that'll allow them to reverse the curse. There just so happens to be a scroll with tips inside, but they are humiliating. The girls have no choice though and attempt the first tip, which has Ghoulia balancing upside-down on top of Cleo's head. When that doesn't work, the two throw popcorn in each other's mouths at the movie theater until their bags are empty. Again, success fails to come and Cleo is forced to sit through the movie makingsure Slo Mo doesn't try anything.

By the end of the evening, the boys are highly confused about the girls' behavior and Slo Mo is nothing short of disheartened by not-Ghoulia's constant rejection of him. Deuce assures his pal that Ghoulia does like him and offers to kiss Cleo when he tries to kiss Ghoulia again so it won't be that weird. The girls are taken aback by the double-attempt at a kiss and fail to come up with something better than turn their faces just in time. Miraculously, the synchronous kisses on their cheeks prompt their identities to return to their own bodies. The girls are elated at first, but then it becomes clear that the curse has merely been passed on and has now switched Deuce's and Slo Mo's identities. [69]

[70]

Ghoulia thinks back on all the times she studied under the tree, and Draculaura and Clawd recall how the tree was part of their first date. As the students share their individual experiences with the tree, his roots plunge back into the soil and leaves sprout from his branches. With no doubt that the tree has been revitalized, the students celebrate. [71]

The girls, along with Frankie, confront the guys and are finally told they'd been planning their Guys' Night Out for tonight and that they don't want to cancel that. Cleo asks them what they are planning to do if they were so secretive about it, but Clawd replies a girl wouldn't understand. Just then, Jackson passes by and makes an intimidating gesture towards Clawd, which Clawd responds to just as intimidatingly. As the guys walk away, the girls decide that they need to find out what the guys are planning to do. To this result, all of them outright spy on their male friends throughout the day, noticing talk about battle strategies and more intimidating behavior. Their conclusion is unanimous: the boys are planning a fight. The girls thus decide they have to stop them.

They get Ghoulia involved to help them track the boys, which brings the group to the cemetery. Following the noise of tough talk, the girls find the boys... playing a board game and playing it pretty seriously no less. Perplexed but also relieved, Cleo proposes to leave them to their game, but Lagoona objects, saying that the spectacle is hilarious. As the boys continue with their play-battle, unaware they're being watched, the girls get themselves popcorn. [72]

For Home Ick, each student is required to create one dish live on Monster High's screen system. Ghoulia bakes cakes, which receive a good grade from Ms. Kindergrubber. Kindergrubber presents Cleo as tomorrow's chef, and also reminds Cleo that she'll have to do the recipe of her choosing from memory.

Cleo starts off well as she searches for a good De Nile family recipe, but she is called by someone and loses herself in the chat until late that night, after which she falls asleep. She shoots awake the next morning, acutely aware that she has no recipe. At school, she confides to her friends and Ghoulia Yelps offers her a recipe: raspscary boofflé. Cleo is grateful, but notes she will never learn it by head in time before Home Ick. Just then, Scarah walks by and Draculaura casually asks her if she enjoyed Telepathy Camp. Scarah answers she had a blast and walks on, while Cleo comes up with a plan: Scarah can read Ghoulia's recipe for her and use her telepathy to get the knowledge to her. Draculaura notes that telepathy is still hard for Scarah, as she keeps mixing up all the thoughts she receives, but Cleo is certain of her plan. [73]

A party is held at Monster High and Frankie helps out with catering, creating and distributing smoothies to her fellow students and the teachers present. [74]

Ghoulia attempts to invite Toralei, Meowlody, and Purrsephone to her party, but is met with mockery because she can't voice the purpose of her interruption fast enough on account of being a zombie. Ghoulia's friends come to her aid, but this does not stop the werecats from mocking Ghoulia. Ghoulia retorts that she's just as fast as Toralei, so Toralei proposes a race: Whoever gets to Hackington's classroom at the other side of the school first wins. The loser will help with the catering at the winner's party. Ghoulia accepts the challenge, after which the werecats swiftly run off.

Ghoulia's friends contemplate how they can help Ghoulia win the race and if they have a right to interfere, but before they can reach a conclusion, Ghoulia has already left. She makes her way to the catacombs, while aboveground the werecats have run out of breath and decide to walk the rest of the way, as even then a zombie can't possibly be faster than they are. They even take the time to discuss a headline for the race as it can be written about in the Ghostly Gossip with Spectra. Meanwhile, Ghoulia reaches the zombies' highway in the catacombs, where the zombies tickle large dragons' noses so the resulting sneeze will launch them in a pre-decided direction to elsewhere in the school. As such, Ghoulia easily reaches the classroom before the werecats do, much to their horror.

Ghoulia and her friends have the time of their unlife at Ghoulia's party. The werecats provide catering as promised, if reluctantly and with a bite to it. Toralei offers two zombies another slice of pie, but trips and gets the pie on her head. The others laugh, but Toralei takes it in stride because the pie is delicious. [75]

Ghoulia solves a difficult equation, earning her much admiration from the Mr. Rotter and the class. Slo Mo admires her too, but sorrowfully, as he thinks that he is not smart enough to fit Ghoulia's preferences for a love interest. When he later finds her the center of attention as she earns a million points on the Dead Fast video game, Lagoona notices his distress and insists he's not too unintelligent for Ghoulia. Slo Mo refuses to believe her and inquires about the magical artifacts Cleo has access to. Lagoona thinks Cleo will have something to help Slo Mo, but discourages the plan. Slo Mo pulls a puppyface though, which convinces her to help him ask Cleo for aid.

Cleo does not have Lagoona's reservations and quickly hauls up an intelligence potion and its antidote from the artifact collection. Slo Mo eagerly drinks it and not only is the change in his intelligence immediate, but also the change in his personality. This worries both Lagoona and Cleo, but they let him be.

The next day, Ghoulia and Frankie witness Slo Mo playing an simultaneous exhibition chess match and winning each of games. Shortly after, he, Ghoulia, and Don are part of a debate competition and, ignoring Ghoulia's wish to do the next rebuttal, Slo Mo launches a long-winded insult at the opposing team's debate qualities. While most in the auditorium are impressed, Ghoulia is angry that Slo Mo did something arrogant and mean like that. Her anger only grows mere hours later, when Slo Mo checks the details of the equation she solved and publicly criticizes and improves it.

Aware he messed up, Slo Mo goes to Lagoona for help to talk with Ghoulia about his actions. Lagoona answers that Ghoulia doesn't want to see him because he's become a jerk. Slo Mo defends himself by saying he now is what Ghoulia wanted, but Lagoona corrects that he now is who he thought Ghoulia wanted. She hands him the intelligence potion's antidote then, leaving the choice to Slo Mo. Slo Mo chooses his old self, making both him and Ghoulia happy in the end. [76]

Bloodgood announces Nightmare as the Creature of the Year during the ceremony, much to the chagrin of Rotter and Hackington. Everyone else cheers and Nightmare proudly leaves the stage, though not before happily snorting some flames towards the two disqualified teachers. [77]

Heath Burns is lost in a video game-fuelled daydream in which he is a brave knight defending his friends from the evil Sinisterian hordes. As he makes the villains run for their lives, his friend chant his name. This particular part of his daydream is not imaginary though, as his friends are calling him—they want him to lay down his video game and finally get to work helping prepare for the big Friday the 13th party.

Reluctant to leave his game, but eager for the party, Heath obliges and cleans some moss off of a rock. Doing so, however, reveals a message which Heath recognizes as Sinisterian in origin. He translates it for his friends as to read "On Friday the 13th of the 13th year, the Sinisterians will return to this spot to take over." Heath panicks and urges the dance to be cancelled, which none of his friends take well too. They point out that Heath has made wild claims before that only resulted in a lot of chaos about nothing. Heath swears this time the threat is real, but no one believes him.

Just as his friends start to leave, a portal opens on the message's spot and three Sinisterians walk out of it. Heath prepares to defend his friends as he did in his daydream, but the Sinisterians tell him to calm down; they are only here to take over the dance floor and party along! With the unexpected guests' arrival, the Friday the 13th party is declared started. Heath is left confused that the Sinisterians aren't actually evil, to which one of them replies that he should play less video games. [78]

Witnessing another instance of zombies being treated as lesser people, Frankie decides to run for Student Disembodied President in order to obtain the power to help them. Her friends are supportive of her, with Cleo assigning herself as Frankie's campaign manager. For the most part, Frankie enjoys her friends' aid, but she also finds that most of them expect her to use her future influence to spend energy on trivial matters for them. On top of that, Toralei decides to run too—solely so Frankie will lose.

To boost her place in the polls, Frankie and her team make a campaign video. Frankie uses the opportunity to point out that many people have problems and want her to do something about them, but that there's issues that are objectively much more significant and that it's those issues she wants to work on. The team is happy with the resulting video and leave their equipment alone for a bit. Toralei uses this time to rework her opponent's video into one that makes Frankie look like a horrible candidate.

Angered but not defeated, Frankie engages Toralei in a debate. Toralei tries to win votes by making outrageous promises, and Frankie knows she can't beat that. As such, she shifts the attention from her person onto one of the students she wants to help: Sloman Mortavitch. She lets him talk about his experiences as a zombie at Monster High, which move the entire student body. Frankie goes the extra mile by retreating from the election and announcing Slo Mo as the new candidate, since he is a better voice for the zombies than she ever could be. Slo Mo gets twice the votes Toralei gets, and thus becomes the new Student Disembodied President. [79]

[80]

Clawdeen angrily takes her friend's iCoffin away, but one glimpse at Angry Ghouls has her entranced like Draculaura. From there, the spell quickly spread and before long everyone is playing Angry Ghouls, teachers and students alike. The only one who stays clean is Robecca, whose worry about the situation rapidly rises as classes become video game mass-sessions and everyone but she starts getting bad grades. This includes Ghoulia Yelps.

Aware the situation is out of her league, Robecca approaches Ghoulia and removes the batteries from her iCoffin, thus breaking the spell. Ghoulia, in turn, creates a virus to inflict on all the iCoffins at school so that Angry Ghouls becomes unplayable. For a moment, it seems everything is back to normal, but then Deuce Gorgon announces the release of a new game that is even better than Angry Ghouls. In moments, the school is caught up in the new video game, leaving both Ghoulia and Robecca highly unamused. [81]

At Monster High, a casketball game is about to take place between the home team and the West Valley Mages. The Fear Squad is present to cheer for the casketball team, though Ghoulia assures them that Monster High will win by 40 points, seeing as how the members of the West Valley High team are small and scrawny compared to the members of the Monster High team.

Surprisingly, within the first minute a member of the West Valley High team takes the ball from Clawd and scores one for the guest team. Even more surprisingly, this goes on until the score is 22-08 for the West Valley Mages. As the Fear Squad discusses what is going on, Ghoulia notices that the West Valley High coach has a crystal ball with him, with which he predicts Monster High's actions so his team can work them into their own plan. The Fear Squad wonders what they can do about this, and Ghoulia suggests that they try to create noise to make the crystal ball shatter. They'll need the audience's help for that though, so the Fear Squad lets Ghoulia lead a cheer filled with stomping and clapping that swiftly catches on with the audience.

While the opposing team's coach does almost drop the crystal ball, the artifact refuses to show even the tiniest of cracks. Worried, the Fear Squad again turns to Ghoulia, who unleashes a supernatural wail on the crystal ball, utterly obliterating it. Without the West Valley High team's ability to predict the future, the Monster High team catches up in no time, ending the game with a score difference of 36-54. Grateful, the Monster High students lift Ghoulia on their shoulders, chanting her name. [82]

After winning the Gloom Beach tournament, the girls take their time to relax on the beach. The same is true for Ghoulia, who arrives with a large amount of books she intends to gain knowledge from. Cleo is appalled by this, certain that her friend does not know how to have a good time. As such, she and the rest of the girls organize a day of fun for Ghoulia, despite Ghoulia's insistence she already was having fun.

First of, the girls get Ghoulia dressed in appropriate beach attire. Next, the girls go on to build sand castles. Ghoulia starts work on a sturdy, real-life scale castle of sand, but her design stand is knocked over by Heath. Next, Frankie and Cleo take Ghoulia aside for some archery practice. Slo Mo and Don watch as Ghoulia prepares her bow, upon which Cleo takes off Ghoulia's glasses to make her look prettier. As a result, Ghoulia misses the target and accidentally hits Hoodude, whose pain is transmitted to Heath.

Distraught about the depressing experiences, Ghoulia walks off to cry. Cleo and the girls come after her, and Cleo apologizes for insisting that Ghoulia has fun their way instead of her own. Ghoulia accepts the apology and goes back with the others. First, Ghoulia completes her sand castle, which all of the girls find fun. Next, she tries archery again, but this time with her glasses on, and hits the bullseye. As the others are cheering, Cleo admits that Ghoulia's definition of fun is pretty fun. [83]

Ghoulia finds herself in a difficult position as to which zombie she should take to Draculaura's Sweet 1600th Birthday celebration. After Gil and Lagoona offer their help to her, Ghoulia decides to do it scientifically. She finds Heath to be her perfect match, but after a while being solely bothered by him, she discovers her computer had merely been bugged, literally. She tries to tell Heath during Draculaura's Sweet 1600 party, but he breaks up with her because he doesn't want to be tied down yet. Ghoulia lets him off, relieved she is rid of him. [85]

Lagoona invites all of her friends on a trip to her home, the Great Barrier Reef. On the way, though, their boat is destroyed by a kraken. They are rescued by Bartleby Farnum and taken to Skull Shores. They are welcomed by the Tiki living there, but while they have fun, something odd is going on. It is discovered that Farnum is after the Beast of Skull Shores and the group is split when the Beast appears and abducts Frankie. Ghoulia and Abbey are trapped in a pitfall by the Tiki who want the Beast gone from their island. After tricking the Tiki guarding them into providing them a way out of the trap, Ghoulia and Abbey are able to convince the Tiki Chief to turn on Farnum. Their joined forces mean little when Farnum takes Frankie hostage, but Gil returns with the kraken who sunk the boat and saves the day. The kraken also repairs the boat to make amends, allowing the group to resume their journey. They take along the Beast, who turns out to be a monster their age named Andy, and get him enrolled at Monster High. Farnum is not done yet though and tracks them to the school. Ghoulia bears witness to Farnum's last attempt to capture Andy, only to be betrayed by his underling, Kipling, and left to be carted off to a psych ward. The student body receives an extra week of Spring Break while Monster High is repaired following Farnum's actions and Ghoulia and the others successfully convince everyone to return to Skull Shores with them, much to the pleasure of the Tiki. The next twosome to become infected are Venus and Rochelle A situation that to the other students does not bode well The rhythmic quartet thrashes through the doors of the creepateria And soon all of the school is tainted with mass dance hysteria

With staff and students all taken in by the Zombie Shake There is obviously but one thing they can undertake A zombie-themed dance at the cemetery fits moodwise Because at Monster High, the party never dies

Though a bash to remember with grins and delight Ghoulia thereafter proceeds to make things back right Returned to the Mad Science Lab she soon concocts a cure "The Vampire Shuffle, you say? Alright, sure!" [92]

Clawdeen says "Hey Iris" to Iris at the school's entrance, to which she replies to all her, Ghoulia, Draculaura, and Cleo, "Hey ghouls." Then Cleo tells Iris that Draculaura told them that she's been dating Manny for the last two weeks, and that Cleo wants all the juicy gossip. Iris says: "Manny's… nice." Ghoulia asks about dates in Zombie, to which Iris says "kinda", to which the scene flashes to Manny and Iris playing casketball together (without the guys) and Manny boosts with his own name about winning. Iris says "We have been playing a lotta games together… which… he… wins." Then an idea comes to Iris, and she says he takes her to lunch "all the time", to which the scene flashes to Manny chowing and gorging down with Heath and Clawd. And that last night, he took her "dancing", to which the scene flashes to Manny and the guys "dancing". Then Iris says, "If you could call it dancing." Then Cleo asks Iris if Manny is just bringing her around to do guy stuff with his friends, an Clawdeen determindely says: "Ghoul–you got to tell him that tonight, you two are doing something that you wanna do!" Then, Manny is about to come over, and Draculaura tells: "Hear me comes now! Tell him!" When Manny comes over, he thinks that tonight he thought they might "sit outside and look at the stars" as Iris says, but Manny says: "Uh, yeah. Uh, no" and tells her that he promised the guys that he would go down and meet them in the Catacombs to search for "gross bugs". When Manny says: cool, huh?, Iris instantly gets very angry and very sad, and says: "No, Manny! I'm. Not. Meeting. You, anywhere! Because we're through!" and runs off crying. Manny tells the Ghouls that he's confused, and Draculaura calmly asks him "Manny, have you ever done thing that was Iris's idea?" then slightly firmly says: "without the guys?" Manny says: "Yup, um, nope." Then Manny is crying out: "What am I gonna dooooo?!" Ghoulia soon attracts a firefly that Manny had come out of his jar with her own juice with a water dropper, and Ghoulia snaps her fingers to have the firefly light up. So Manny asks her if she thinks Iris will like that, to which Ghoulia moans a "yes". The ghouls are with Iris in the Catacombs, and they find Manny, to Iris's response: "Wait. What's he doing here?". Manny then opens up the firefly jar and he snaps his fingers. Iris is amazed at the "stars" and Manny tells him that they're for her, and Iris says "the constellations". Then, Iris holds Manny's hand and says: "Let's start with… Taurus!—the Bull! I think you'll like that one." The fireflies then form the shape of a heart. [93]

Operetta is directing the school's spring musical, Screaming in the Drain, and a long line of ghouls wait outside the Clawditorium for their chance to audition for the show, including Ghoulia. Lagoona joins her to wish her luck, but Ghoulia admits she's having second thoughts about trying. Lagoona reminds her that she tries out for the musical every year, but Toralei laughs that Ghoulia never gets a role, due to her singing voice being so shrill that it shatters glass and scares away animals. Lagoona tells Ghoulia that you never know what'll happen unless you try, and encourages her to do her best.

Suddenly the door opens and Operetta lets Catty Noir out, telling her that she nailed the part. Upon seeing this, every ghoul in the queue decides to give up and walk away. Even Lagoona throws up her arms in defeat, claiming there's no way anyone could beat out a famous pop star like Catty. Ghoulia is left alone, and is about to walk away when Operetta spots her and asks if she still wants to audition.

Some time later the musical opens, and to everyone's surprise, Ghoulia is in the lead role. Lagoona explains that Catty was actually auditioning for the secondary role for a change, and since Ghoulia was the only other person who tried out, she got the lead part. Ghoulia and Catty sing together on stage, and despite Ghoulia's voice shattering the spotlights and windows, they receive a standing ovation. [94]

As the students of Monster High settle into the Creepateria for lunch, Cleo and Frankie notice that it is getting very crowded, and it'll be difficult to find a seat. Meanwhile, Draculaura and Howleen receive their lunch from the Lunch Ladies, and are disgusted by the unidentifiable slop they are given. They all decide they need to tell Headmistress Bloodgood about the Creepateria's problems.

The ghouls approach the Headmistress with their grievances, with the Lunch Ladies along to watch. Bloodgood explains that her main concern is the lack of space, but she agrees that the food needs to be healthier. She puts the Ghouls in charge of creating a brand new menu. The Lunch Ladies are not pleased with the arrangement.

The next day, the Ghouls introduce the students to the new, healthier Creepateria menu. As they show off the various new foods and fixtures they've added, the Lunch Ladies watch angrily from the new Veggie cart, mocking the fancy new ingredients like carrots, which they think are oranges. They then decide to play a prank and steal the Veggie cart, racing it down the corridors. However, a wheel breaks and they lose control of the cart, crashing it through several walls before smashing through the wall of the Creepateria.

Bloodgood confronts the two, demanding an explanation. Frankie gets an idea, and says that the Lunch Ladies were creating a doorway to the courtyard outside, creating an outdoor eating area. Realizing this would solve the overcrowding problem, Bloodgood thanks the Ghouls and the Lunch Ladies for their help. The Lunch Ladies thank Frankie for covering for them and serve out vegetables to the students, deciding that the 'oranges' are actually quite tasty. [95]

The pets are enjoying a game of table football in the student lounge when the bell rings. They quickly hide to not be seen by the students and teachers that begin to come in. Some of those who enter are Ghoulia, Skelita, and Jinafire. Ghoulia shows off her complete limited edition Dead Fast coin collection to her friends. She doesn't notice one of the coins fall out of its case as she puts it back in her bag, but the pets do see it happening. The coin rolls on until it bumps into Heath's foot, who at the time is deciding which snack to get from the vending machine. Heath takes note of the coin and, mistaking it for a regular coin, puts it in the vending machine to pay for his snack.

The pets leave the coin in Ghoulia's locker, where she is very surprised yet also very happy to find it. With that mission a success, the pets turn their attention elsewhere to ensure everyone gets to be happy. They obtain the bag of crisps Mr. Hack had to leave behind and drop it off on his desk when he isn't looking. Like Ghoulia, Mr. Hack is pleasantly surprised and starts munching right away. [99]

Ghoulia, the referee, blows the whistle and Clawd calls in Manny to play, and then Ghoulia blows the whistle again. But when Manny tries to play, the opposing team knocks him out and they need someone to get in the game to replace him. Clawd calls in Neighthan, which Neighthan feels nervous about, but Clawd wants Neighthan to heal Manny. Frankie encourages Neighthan on this. Neighthan says he's on it, but trips, and then gets up and says now he's on it. Ghoulia blows the whistle again, and Neighthan runs out onto the field. Someone gives Neighthan the ball by mistake and Neighthan is left running to save his own life. One of the centaurs tries to grab Neighthan, but grabs his helmet instead, and Neighthan is still running. He trips onto the ground and Monster High officially wins the game. Ghoulia blows her whistle one last time. Monster High cheers for Neighthan, and Clawd comes up to Neighthan appearing to be angry, but is actually thrilled with what Neighthan has done out there. He grabs an arm around Neighthan and exclaims that they won, and Frankie jumps in waving her pom poms and says "Thanks to Neighthan." [100]

Lagoona visits Ghoulia in the Mad Science lab, where she is programming a new app for the iCoffin on her laptop. The app, called Inner Monster, features a customizable avatar which is meant to show students the fastest route through the school to their next class. She shows Lagoona the app's A.I, which has been set with its intelligence at maximum to keep it logical. The two decide to tell everyone about the app. As they head off, Ghoulia swats a fly away, unaware that it hits the keyboard and resets the app's emotional intelligence to maximum instead.

Ghoulia heads to the corridors with a stopwatch to see how well the app works, but is confused when she sees everyone playing with their phones instead of going to class. She approaches Twyla and sees her actually having a conversation about feeling embarrassed with her Inner Monster, which seems to feel the same. Other monsters are also talking to their Inner Monster, and seem happy that they're listening to their problems.

Ghoulia returns to her laptop and sees what has happened to the app's settings. She is about to delete it, but Lagoona, Twyla and the other monsters rush in and stop her. They tell her that while Inner Monster doesn't direct them to class like Ghoulia intended, they love that it gives them someone who really understands their feelings. Ghoulia consults her own Inner Monster app, which talks back to her in zombie, and she decides this new version is just fine. [101]

Ghoulia remains behind at Monster High when Draculaura takes some of her friends home to Transylvania after being chosen to become the next Vampire Queen by Prime Minister Lord Stoker. Ghoulia is soon asked to look for the real Queen, Elissabat, after it is discovered that Elissabat disappeared and took the real Vampire's Heart with her so Stoker could not find her. Ghoulia is also made the court clerk in Cute Court to settle a dispute between Toralei Stripe and Howleen Wolf, Clawdeen and Clawd's little sister, over which of two famous actors was more handsome. Ghoulia discovers both actors to be portrayed by the same actor, thus settling the dispute, but then realizes something else regarding the photo of Elissabat she was sent, and a picture of famous vampire actress Veronica Von Vamp. When she discovers the revelation, she and Operetta travel to Hauntlywood, just in time to see Veronica reveal herself to be Elissabat, and Ghoulia provides the web search to confirm that Veronica and Elissabat are one and the same. Ghoulia then joins the others in celebrating Draculaura getting her full vampire powers, and attending the premiere of Elissabat's latest movie as Veronica Von Vamp. [111]

Ghoulia is among Frankie's friends working on Mr. Where's play to celebrate Monster High's bicentennial by talking about the school's history. She is also among Frankie's friends who travel back to 1814 to meet Robecca's father, Prof. Hexiciah Steam, and Frankie's grandfather, Victor Frankenstein, nickname "Sparky." Ghoulia is the only other monster besides Frankie who returns to 2014 without being fused with another student due to having jumped into the time portal alone, like Frankie. While Frankie takes the others to deal with the Monster High performing arts teacher, Mr. Where, and receive help from Avea Trotter and her fellow hybrids, Ghoulia stays behind to try and fix the time portal in Hexiciah's old office/laboratory. After some struggles with the repairs, Ghoulia leaves to get some refreshment when the door unlocks, only to return an hour later when the door reopens to find the portal lens missing, not realizing that Sparky had been transported to the future as well, and taken the lens as part of his next attempt to create life using modern technology. She is unable to warn Frankie immediately as she's locked in the office and can't leave for another hour, when the door will unlock and open again. After Frankie stops Creation 4.0 at the cost of her own life, Ghoulia suggests to Victor in using Hexiciah's recharge chamber to revive her, then sends out a text for help to the students of Monster High to lend their strength with returning Frankie back to life with the spark of joy within them that Frankie had brought to everyone since first coming to the school. After Frankie is revived, Ghoulia is given Hexiciah's old office to practice her skills, and manages to overpower a dinosaur that she nearly brought through the time portal before sending it back to it's own time period. Frankie and her ghoulfriends on a stairwell, frantically typing into their iCoffins and laptops. Draculaura explains that they're voting for Monster High to become the venue for the upcoming Casta and the Spells concert. The boys admit they have no idea who that is, which shocks the ghouls greatly. Frankie tells them at Casta Fierce and her band the Spells are the hottest band around, and she shows them an episode of 'Monsters of Music' on her phone.

The episode shows Casta and her band performing live, and explains that she inherited her good looks, singing talent, and magical powers from her mother, the witch Circe. There is one drawback though. If Casta accidentally mispronounces a lyric, she can end up transforming her entire audience into animals. After several instances of turning her fans into frogs and cats, Casta and the band decided it was too dangerous to continue touring live. Instead, they now play one live concert every year at Halloween, the location of which is voted for by her fans.

The ghouls get in a few more votes before time runs out. They then watch a live feed on Ghoulia's laptop, where Casta pulls out the winning venue from a magic cauldron. She reveals Monster High has won, and the ghouls cheer in celebration. Casta then reveals that Monster High only won by four last-second votes... which were made by Deuce, Manny, Gil and Invisi Billy. The ghouls are surprised, but as the boys gush in excitement, it's clear they've become serious Casta fans. [113]

Ghoulia, Cleo, Frankie and Clawdeen are checking out Marisol's live introduction video to get to know her better, before she starts frequenting Monster High. During the chat, Abbey shows up to get Marisol to the train and make her company during the trip. Since it's Marisol's last day in Monster Picchu, she asks Abbey if she can show her around her village before they go. Abbey accepts it, but only if it's for a little while. After showing her around, Marisol tells Abbey she needs to surf on the Amazonian River. She then proceeds to show her ginea pigs and gives her a 'Mari Makeover', but, when Abbey insists they have go and catch the train, Marisol tells her she can't leave Monster Picchu without visiting the jungle, Again, Abbey accepts it but only if it is the last activity. Like previously, Marisol pushes Abbey into a bunch of other activities, running from SpiderMonkeys, playing soccer and trying the local gastronomy. Finally, when Abbey and Marisol head to the train, Marisol asks Abbey to admit that she actually liked the trip to which Abbey replies that she really liked it.

Back at Monster High, while Clawdeen is commenting on Marisol's platforms, Frankie approaches the ghouls to ask if they've seen Abbey, for she hasn't been able to find her for a week. Marisol shows her a video of Abbey in Monster Picchu, declaring that she had so much fun she decided to stay an extra week. [117]
