Elementals are personifications of the elements. These usually are the Greek quartet of earth, water, air, and fire, but systems like the Chinese quintet of earth, metal, wood, water, and fire, or anything that suits the needs of a particular work is possible.

Monster High[]

Generation 1[]

For the most part, Monster High sticks to the classical elements. The most prominent fire elemental is Heath Burns who has a half-fire elemental cousin named Holt Hyde. Then there's also the water elemental Sue Nami, one of the staff members at Monster High. In her Ghoul Sports notebook, Spectra mentions going up against an air elemental in tennis and losing badly. The only elemental outside of the classical elemental system is C.A. Cupid, who is most likely a bone elemental.

Notes[]

  • In the books by Lisi Harrison, Heath Burns has a sister in the books named Harmony.
  • Melody Carver is the Monster High book's major siren, being the main protagonist of the Monster High book series by Lisi Harrison, her existence is limited to those four books, meaning that she and the other original book characters in Lisi Harrison's books such as Harmony Burns are technically not Generation 1 characters as they have never made a proper appearance in Generation 1.
  • In the comics, Flara Blaze is a fire elemental, but in most other works she is a phoenix.
