Dustin is a 2023-introduced and all-around character. He used to be a Night Terror who was essential for Twyla Boogeyman to defeat in order for her to complete her boogeymonster rite of passage by overcoming her fears of growing up; he also terrorized her friends' dreams, forcing them to face their fears too. After Twyla overcame her fears, she transformed the Night Terror into her pet Dust Bunny, which is one of her powers — manifesting dreams into the real world.

Dustin is a purple bunny and has white eyes with blue-gray pupils.

In the English version of the 2022 cartoon, Dustin's voice is provided by Sunil Malhotra and later Audrey Wasilewski.
Fiction[]
The song "Out of the Shadows" makes a brief reference as to how Dustin became Twyla's pet. Twyla sings about how she counts dust bunnies underneath her bed, and by overcoming her fears, she was able to transform them into her friends. She even says after this "Hey, Dustin", further alluding to this.
Dustin made his 2022 animated series debut in the episode "Boogey Nightmare", as a Night Terror that would terrorize monsters in their dreams until Twyla defeated him, turning him into something friendlier, a dust bunny.
