2015 is known mostly as the last “good year” of Monster High amongst the fandom due to the 2016 reboot of the franchise. Similar to 2013 and 2014, it followed the pattern of new characters only being introduced via a webisode or tv special, due to the reboot none of the characters introduced in 2015 were able to receive a second release.
In total 2015 saw 158 releases for the franchise in merchandise, making it one of the biggest release years for Monster High.
