CLAWDEEN: [gasping] Wait.
CLEO: Excuse you. [chuckles] I am in the middle of my story.
CLAWDEEN: Right, and it's riveting, but what color is the frosting on Deuce's cupsnakes?
CLEO: Pink and green. Why?
CLAWDEEN: Are you all thinking what I'm thinking?
LAGOONA: That we should go back to the kitchen and see if there are any cupsnakes left and eat them?
CLAWDEEN: No.
LAGOONA: Oh. Then, no.
CLAWDEEN: The frosting we found by the trophy case, it was pink.
FRANKIE: Knew it tasted familiar. Definitely from one of Deuce's cupsnakes.
LAGOONA: Does that mean Deuce did it?
DRACULAURA: We can't just go around accusing our friends.
FRANKIE: And according to my detective brain, we've got to find a motive. Trophies don't get stolen without a motive.
CLEO: [clearing throat] Can I continue?
DRACULAURA: Deuce was baking all day. He wouldn't have had time to steal the trophy.
CLAWDEEN: We weren't with him all day.
FRANKIE: We need more evidence before we make any real accusations, but we should keep a list of suspects.
LAGOONA: Should we add Toralei? Her hair was by the trophy case too.
CLAWDEEN: She could have just been shedding.
LAGOONA: Or took the trophy for her own personal collection.
FRANKIE: We add every suspect until the evidence clears their name.
CLEO: Hello? This is all pointless because I've already figured it out. Now, can you please stop interrupting me?
DRACULAURA: You're right. And we're running out of time to save the scare rally. Go on, Cleo.
CLEO: So Deuce was all...
DEUCE: [from memory] Oh, no, my cupsnakes. I got to get them to Bloodgood's office. She wanted me to set some aside for Dracula.
CLEO: [V.O.] And being the generous friend I am I sent my little beetle baby scarabs along to help, while I kept looking for clues. After searching the entire kitchen, I decided to take a well earned break. And that's when it hit me. [normaly] The Eektok.
LAGOONA: We've all seen the Eektok, Cleo.
CLEO: But did you notice the quality? It's like really good. And the audio is perfect.
CLAWDEEN: Okay, and that's important, why?
CLEO: The only way I can get my audio this good is if I record somewhere without any noise.
DRACULAURA: Like in a closet.
CLEO: That was supposed to be my grand reveal, but yeah.
CLAWDEEN: Okay, but there are lots of closets.
CLEO: Oh right. Duh. I found... this.
ALL [gasping] A ring light?
LAGOONA: So the Eektok was filmed here.
FRANKIE: Wait a second. How did you see the ring light if it was covered?
CLEO: I covered it up again as a backup dramatic reveal, which I obviously needed.
DRACULAURA: But how did you know to look in this closet?
CLEO: Oh, I film in here all the time. But only during class when my fans really need me.
LAGOONA: Then how do we know you didn't film this Eektok?
CLEO: Mkay, why would I show you all this evidence if I did it? I'm literally being so helpful right now. Besides, that's not all I found. [V.O.] I was checking my face; all the excitement was making me glisten, when I spotted something. [creaking, slamming]
CLAWDEEN: That slam must have been the first sound we heard.
FRANKIE: Doors don't usually slam shut on their own.
DRACULAURA: No, someone wanted you out of the way.
CLEO: And that makes sense because they knew I saw this.
LAGOONA: The ceiling's all charred.
FRANKIE: And where there's char, there's usually... [sighing]
CLAWDEEN, DRACULAURA & FRANKIE: Heath.
LAGOONA: Barbecue. I mean, Heath.
CLEO: And that my friends is who done it.
DRACULAURA: But, wait. Why would Heath steal a trophy?
LAGOONA: But the char doesn't lie.
CLAWDEEN: Or there's another explanation.
DRACULAURA: Let's find Heath and ask him.
FRANKIE: Looks like this cold case is heating up. And that's a pun.
