Description[]
Volume 1, Episode 4: Cleo claims to have solved the mystery of the missing casketball trophy and decides to tell her story! She recaps looking in the cafeteria with Deuce, finding a surprise item in the closet, AND someone locking her inside. Meanwhile, the ghouls put together a list of suspects, but things aren't always what they seem
Summary[]
Cleo is selected on the choose-a-character screen. In the science lab, she emerges from the closet as Clawdeen, Draculaura, Frankie, and Lagoona interrogate her, asking how she solved the case, who stole the trophy, where Deuce is (as she was last since being paired off with him), and how she got stuck in the closet. An overdramatic Cleo decides between telling the story quickly or with dramatic flair; finding the former option boring, she decides on the latter.
Cleo takes us back to the Creepateria, where she and Deuce had been paired off, when suddenly, Deuce begins worrying about his cupsnakes. Flash forward to present, where Cleo is interrupted by Clawdeen, who asks what color is the frosting on Deuce's cupsnakes. Cleo responds that they're pink and green, with Clawdeen bringing back one of her clues, which was pink frosting on the trophy case, despite Lagoona's suggestion of going back to the Creepateria to eat the cupsnakes. As Cleo impatiently asks if she can continue her story, everyone else hesistates to make Deuce and any of their friends suspects, especially since they don't know any motives, but decide to list him as one for now. Lagoona and Frankie also add Toralei to the suspect list, due to a piece of orange hair being found next to the trophy. An irritated Cleo is finally allowed to continue her story.
Flashback to when Cleo and Deuce began searching for clues in the Creepateria, Deuce remembers that Bloodgood wanted him to put some of his cupsnakes in her office to set some aside for Dracula. Cleo sent her scarabs to help Deuce as she continued looking for clues, and started going on EekTok after searching the entire kitchen, considering it a "well-earned break". That was when she realized the EekTok video that the Hooded Figure made was of really good quality, which could've only been done in the science lab closet, where she commonly films her EekToks. In the present, she unveils to the others a ring light that she found in the closet, which she covered up with a cloth as "a backup dramatic reveal". The ring light is added to the list of clues. Lagoona asks Cleo if she's the culprit for knowing such information, with Cleo stating she would've withheld it if she was. Cleo also adds that when she was checking her face in her personal mirror, she spotted another clue as the door slammed shut behind her. The others deduce that that slam was the first noise they heard, with Cleo's knocking being the rest of the noise, and that someone wanted her out of the way. Cleo then showcases the second clue she found by looking through her mirror: the ceiling of the closet being charred.
Everyone else suspects that that could be Heath's doing, sans Lagoona, who is thinking of barbeques. Cleo is certain it was Heath who stole the trophy, but since the others take this news with a pinch of salt, they decide to go and ask him themselves.

Notes[]
- Like the rest of the Nickelodeon G3 webisodes, this episode's upload on the official Monster High YouTube channel was set to private in September 2024 for unknown reasons, making it lost media through official means.
- This is episode is entirely in Cleo's POV.
Continuity[]
- Clawdeen is confused by Cleo doing the video game-style multiple choice system at the beginning, like Draculaura with Lagoona in the previous episode. This suggests that only the chosen character in each episode, through their POV, can see and do these choices.
- Frankie continues to carry the dustpan they found from episode 2.
