(Episode begins at the DMV, where Frankie Stein got an A on her test).
Frankie: Yay!
(All of her friends were talking at once).
Frankie: Now I just to pass the road test this afternoon, and I'll be an official driving ghoul!
Abbey: Who you get for your test?
Frankie (reading from her papers): An instructor named Fender Bender.
(The ghouls talked nervously about him.)
Frankie (anxiously): Wow, he seems tough.
Cleo: You need our help.
(Later at Cleo's mansion, the mummy princess brings a strange essence).
Cleo: The essence of Scario Fangdretti, race car champion.
Frankie: Don't know about this.
(She looks into the bottle, and she sees a little race car monster, cackling. But she accidentally dropped it, causing the glass to shatter, and the monster escaped.)
Frankie: Maybe I'll just crack the book. (She holds up an ancient book called "DMV".)
(Later in the school gymnasium, Abbey created a driving course and car out of ice for Frankie.)
Abbey: When in blazer, pass duty on left.
Heath: Time to crank up the heat! (His fire powers kicked in.)
Frankie: Uh, guys? (She holds up her broken steering wheel, and later her book.)
(Then at Jackson's house, Frankie and her friends are playing a video game called Graveyard Derby.)
Jackson: I learned to drive by playing Extreme Graveyard Derby.
Frankie: I really should be home, studying.
Gil (handing her a bat-shaped controller): This is studying, only it's way more fun!
(Frankie takes the controller and she accidentally hits a tombstone in the video game and some ghosts appear. Her friends cheered her on.)
Frankie: Driving is kind of fun!
(But then, in the game, police cars are wailing their sirens.)
Frankie: Oh, no! Should I pull over?
Jackson: You never pull over, you just go faster!
(But in the video game, Frankie ran into an abandoned schoolhouse, so it's game over. She was so frustrated that she almost electrocuted her friends.)
Frankie: Oops, sorry.
(Later at the DMV, Frankie boldly walked into the doors and steps in line. Meanwhile, her friends sat on a nearby bench, supporting her. Then, she noticed Mr. FenderBender wearing a race car uniform with his arm in a sling.)
FenderBender: You will never get a license while I am here.
(A little boy ran away, crying.)
FenderBender (with a clipboard in hand): Next, Frankie Stein! Follow me.
(Frankie obeyed, with the clock saying 4:10, then 4:15. With brakes screeching and a crash heard offscreen, the clock then said 4:20. And then, Frankie returned with a paper.)
Lagoona: Are you all right?
Cleo: How did you do?
(Frankie giggles, then she held up a paper graded 90/100.)
Frankie: Ta-da!
(The others showed their excitement about her. )
Lagoona: It was obviously those moves you learned to play on Graveyard Derby!
Cleo: My Fangdretti potion did the trick.
Abbey: No, it's my ice course simulator.
Frankie: Actually, it was the old-fashioned way! (She holds up the DMV study guide) I studied!
FenderBender (giving Frankie her driver's license): Congratulations! Here's your license!
(Frankie smiled for the camera, and her signature was signed.)
