Volume 1, Episode 25: Frankie plays "wing-ghoul" for Ghoulia - but she wasn't expecting to be put in the hot seat! Can Ghoulia cool things down and still win Slo-Moe's undead heart?
Summary[]
Ghoulia is standing in the lunch line and looks out over the creepateria to a table occupied by Heath Burns, Deuce Gorgon, Gillington Webber and Sloman Mortavitch. Slo Mo waves at Ghoulia to come to his table. Frankie appears next to Ghoulia and encourages her to take the invitation, but Ghoulia is nervous. Frankie promises to come with her so she won't be the only girl at the table and will have a friend around.
At the table, Slo Mo and Ghoulia are both too nervous to speak. Frankie and Gil respectively encourage them to get a conversation going, which they attempt to and fail at the same time. As Frankie thinks up another way to help Ghoulia, Heath suddenly starts heavily flirting with her. It doesn't take long before Frankie flees to the bathroom with Ghoulia in tow. Frankie apologizes to Ghoulia because she doesn't think she can stay at the table as long as Heath is being Heath. Ghoulia understands but comes up with a plan that might be of benefit to both of them.
Back in the creepateria, Frankie asks Heath to switch seats, unbeknownst to Heath placing him under a sprinkler. Frankie claims the lighting at his new seat brings out the red in his eyes, which literally fires Heath up and gets the sprinkler activated. As Heath gets an involuntary shower, Frankie, Ghoulia, and Slo Mo laugh. Frankie continues to entertain the group, holding up carrots to her face to pretend to be a vampire and saying she'll get some villagers. Heath comments that she's funny and that he likes funny girls, again flaming up and again activating the sprinkler. Everybody laughs again, and Slo Mo places his arm around Ghoulia. Ghoulia, happy to finally connect with Slo Mo, gives Frankie a thumbs-up.

- The webisode's name is a play on Day of the Dead, the 1985 zombie movie that helped define zombies as viewed in popular culture today.
- The word "bloodies" is a play of the word "buddies". It will be used many more times in the cartoon series.
Continuity[]
- Heath has hit on Frankie one other time, in the TV special "New Ghoul @ School". It's not clear how the TV special relates to the second half of Volume 1. This could be a continuation of Heath's flirt or an alternative sub-continuity version of the same event.
