Premise[]

Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie meet a boogey monster named Twyla while having a sleepover in the library.

Plot[]

During lunchtime in Monster High, Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie are sitting at their regular lunch table in the creepateria. Suddenly, the chair Draculaura is sitting in breaks and she falls down; thankfully, she is okay. The trio realize their table is very old and not good for use anymore. Draculaura suggests using a spell to fix it, but Clawdeen stops her and reminds her she will get expelled from school if anyone sees her using witchcraft. Then, the trio spots another table that seems to be perfect, as it has plush seats and a food chute, so the trio runs to the table. However, they are stopped by Toralei, who claims the table is hers and orders them to leave.

Draculaura, Frankie, and Clawdeen return to their regular table while watching Toralei eat a purrito (burrito for werecats) at hers. Their table breaks even more, so Draculaura decides not to give up on getting that table. They try to get to the table, but Toralei has set bobby traps around it, so the trio fails to get to the table. Toralei is annoyed with them, but then offers the trio a deal: if they spend an entire day in the library until nightfall, they can eat at her table, but if they leave the library before the schedule, they will have to be her lunchroom attendants and do whatever she says. The trio accepts the deal and decides to make a creepover party (slumber party) in the library. Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie leave the creepateria, and Toralei comments this will be Draculaura's last party at Monster High.

It's daytime, time where monsters go to sleep. Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie are in the library wearing their pajamas. Frankie is very excited, because this is their first creepover party. They decide to start with a dance party, they turn on a speaker and start dancing. Unknown to them, Toralei is still awake and is watching them in the library. She believes that, with the library empty, Draculaura will feel free to use her witchcraft powers, so she starts filming the trio with her ICoffin, hoping to get proof of Draculaura being a witch and get her expelled from the school. Suddenly, the music stops playing, and the speaker is gone. Clawdeen sees what seems to be a shadow taking the speaker. The trio believe it's one of Toralei's tricks and chase the shadow down the library. Clawdeen eventually manages to get the speaker, but then the shadow reveals herself to be Twyla, a boogey monster and the trio's classmate. Clawdeen and Frankie haven't met Twyla before, but Draculaura has because they've had class together since Grave School. She asks Twyla how she and her roommates haven't met before, Twyla says it's because she prefers to stay in the shadows, so she uses her powers to morph within the shadows, turning her invisible to everyone else. Frankie asks Twyla why she took the speaker, and Twyla explains she is autistic, making her startled by loud noises, so she just wanted to turn the music off because it was bothering her. Draculaura apologizes to her, claiming she and her friends wouldn't have turned on music if they knew it was bothering her.

Clawdeen says she thought the library would be empty since everyone else is asleep, but that's the exact reason Twyla is in the library. She loves to read and goes to the library during daytime to read in peace. Twyla has a vast knowledge, and she knows about the talismans of the original Monster Council, including Clawdeen's moon claw. Clawdeen gets interested, and Twyla claims she believes a book about werewolves says more about the moon claw, but she hasn't read it yet. Clawdeen, Frankie, and Draculaura invite her to join them in their creepover party, promising to not make loud noises anymore. Although she is shy, Twyla agrees to join them. Twyla enjoys the creepover party with her new friends. They eat snacks together, take selfies and play some boarding games, and they're all having fun together. At this point, Toralei is bored and annoyed because Draculaura haven't use witchcraft yet, so she decides to act. She takes from her bag a jar with a creepy crawly inside it, which she believes to be a stick bug. She releases the creepy crawly in the library, believing it will either make them leave and lose the bet, or make Draculaura use wicthcraft and get expelled.

Twyla is talking to Clawdeen about the last record of the portal opening to Beheme that led to her mother's disappearance. She then sees the creepy-crawly Toralei released and recognizes it to be a Bookworm, not a stick bug. She claims they must leave, but Draculaura reminds her they will lose the bet, and believes the creepy-crawly looks harmless. But then everyone sees the Bookworm growing bigger after eating books, only now realizing the dangerous of it. Realizing she took the wrong creepy-crawly, Toralei flees, but her ICoffin is left behind. Frankie, Draculaura, and Clawdeen don't know how to stop the Bookworm but decide to look in the books. Twyla tries to talk to them about it, but they don't hear her, so she feels unneeded. Frankie finds a book about Bookworms, but the Bookworm eats it before they can read about how to stop it. The Bookworm grows bigger after eating it. The Bookworm starts eating more books, nearly destroying the library in the process. It then heads to the bookcase where the book about werewolves is, so Clawdeen runs to stop it, but she slips in a book and falls. Frankie rides the Bookworm to try to stop, then Clawdeen and Draculaura join them, but the creepy-crawly continues to destroy the library. This makes a lot of loud noises, and it makes Twyla feel unwell.

They don't know how to stop the Bookworm, so Draculaura decides to try witchcraft, knowing it's risky. But Twyla stops her, saying she can stop the Bookworm, but to do so, she needs them to leave. Even if leaving the library didn't mean losing the bet, Draculaura claims she and her friends can't leave Twyla with the Bookworm. But Twyla says sometimes she needs her friends to give her space, and she hopes the three boos are her friends now. Draculaura, Clawdeen, and Frankie assure her they are her friends indeed, and if she says they need to go, they will, and that Twyla is more important to them than a lunch table. Draculaura, Clawdeen, and Frankie leave the library without hesitation. Alone in the library with the Bookworm, who continues to eat the books, Twyla uses her powers to look into the Bookworm's dreams; it wants somewhere cozy with books to eat. Twyla then creates some shadow books for the Bookworm eat, attracting him to a giant shadow jar, and Twyla traps it inside the jar.

Outside the school at nightfall, Headmistress Bloodgood sends her horse Nightmare to take the Bookworm to the book graveyard. She thanks Dracualura, Clawdeen and Frankie for capturing the Bookworm, but they confirm to her it was Twyla who did it. At lunchtime in the creepateria, Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie are happily walking with their lunches and walk past their broken table. Toralei gets their attention and angrily asks why they are so happy after losing the bet. They respond that they are going to have lunch in the library with Twyla, because it doesn't matter where you sit, but who you sit with. Toralei says they can't leave because of their deal, but to her shock and fear, Draculaura shows her her ICoffin, which Toralei left in the library, with a video of her carrying the jar where the Bookworm was. Frankie then shows her the jar, which contains her paw prints all over it. Draculaura offers her a new deal: either the old deal is off, or they will show the evidence they found to the Headmistress and let her know that Toralei released the Bookworm. Draculaura, Clawdeen, and Frankie then head to the library with Twyla, leaving an angry Toralei alone in her table. Toralei orders a purrito from the food chute, but it doesn't work. She hits the button many times and many purritos fall from the food chute on her, making her table break.
