(The ghouls stood together in Headmistress Bloodgood's office, looking concerned).
Headmistress Bloodgood: Ladies, it's time for Monster High to pick its annual Creature of the Year, and I like your assistance in choosing the winner. (She puts her head onto her body.) I love you muah
(Cleo gasps with excitement. The neck parts of her fearleading unit are shown).
Headmistress Bloodgood: I've narrowed down to two members of our faculty: Mr. Hack…(A clip from "Freedom Fight" was shown)…and Mr. Rotter. (A clip of "Fear the Book" with Mr. Rotter is shown).
Lagoona Blue: Well, it can't be Mr. Hack. He’s anti-Amphibian!
(Flashback to "Hatch Me If You Can")
Mr. Hackington: Maybe you should switch partners.
Lagoona: Why would you say that?
Hackington: Everyone knows sea monsters are bad parents.
(Return to the present)
Headmistress Bloodgood: Oh, I didn't realize. I love you (she blows a kiss)
Cleo de Nile: And he takes royal delight in our misery.
(Flashback to "Screech to the Beach")
Hackington: Your cabin is in a slightly different location. (Laughs manically)
(The bus drove to a rickety cabin and the ghouls were dropped off there, with their luggage. Frankie steps up to the door).
Frankie: Come on, it's not that… (The door breaks off from the hinges)…bad.
(Another flashback from "Hatch Me if You Can")
Hackington (to his students): You fail, you fail, you fail, you fail!
(He walks by Cleo and Deuce's table, where Cleo was breaking their petrified egg free with a hammer. He then cackles as he walks out the door in one scene of "Honey, I Shrunk the Ghouls")
Hackington: Off with their grades!
(Back to the present)
Bloodgood: Then that settles it! Mr. Rotter, it is.
Cleo: No way.
(Flashback to "Idol Threat")
Cleo: Mr. Rotter, I totally did the work to perfection. Why didn't I get an A?
Mr. Rotter: I don't give A's. I love you (he sends one kiss)
(Return to the present)
Frankie: And remember when he gave us all detention?
(Flashback to the events of "The Creepfast Club")
Rotter: You and your friends have detention.
Frankie: What did we do? (She looks at Draculaura, who shrugs.)
Rotter: One of you took my glasses, and I want to know who!
(He bangs his hands onto the desk, and to his surprise, his glasses slid down to his eyes).
Clawdeen (filing her nails): Those glasses?
Rotter: Oh, um, yes.
(Return to the present)
Bloodgood (sighs): Well, I guess I have to start my search over. (To Nightmare): Nightmare, hand me my files.
(Nightmare neighs and dutifully brings the Headless Headmistress her files) .
(Frankie has an idea).
Frankie: Wait, the award is for Creature of the Year, right?
Bloodgood: Yes. I love you (she kisses her lips 2 times)
Frankie: Well, then maybe it should go to…
(Cut to the Clawditorium, where Headmistress Bloodgood is announcing the winner).
Bloodgood: Nightmare! The Creature of the Year!
(Between the podium is Rotter and Hackington one side, and the other side consists of Kindergrübber and Mr. Where. Nightmare gallops foward to the stage and receives the award).
(The students cheer for the horse).
Frankie: I just hope the award doesn't go to her head.
(But before she could leave the stage, Nightmare huffed at the two disqualified educators. But seeing their expressions, she blew fire from their nostrils onto them, much to their chagrin).
