Clawdeen Wolf is a 2022-introduced and all-around character. She is one of the three main protagonists alongside Draculaura and Frankie Stein. Clawdeen is Afro-Latina and a half-human, half-werewolf hybrid. She is the daughter of Apollo Wolf and Selena Wolf. She grows up unaware that she's half-monster, believing she was fully human. On her 15th birthday, Clawdeen received a special gift from her father: the Moonclaw Necklace, which belonged to her mother Selena, who went missing ten years ago. Following her instincts, Clawdeen found her way to Monster High. With the support of friends like Deuce, Draculaura, and Frankie, she begins to embrace her monster side. On that night, under the moonlight, the Moonclaw glowed, and she underwent a transformation into a werewolf, revealing her true nature. Now that the Headmistress knows she's half-monster, Clawdeen is finally accepted to enroll at Monster High, a place where she can truly belong, embracing both her monster and human sides.

Clawdeen is a slim, American-Afro-Latina teenager. In her werewolf form, she takes the appearance of a teenage caramel-furred werewolf with extra fur-tufts, and triangle-shaped dark brown wolf ears.
Her eyes are golden-yellow with rather thick eyelashes protruding from each eye, and she also sports freckles on her face, a dark brown nose, and sharp fangs inside of her mouth. Her eyebrows are a dark brown, showing off her real hair color.
As a human, Clawdeen's appearance is the same, only she is instead a caramel-skinned teenager with basic human traits. In addition, her hair is stylized in a less voluminous and messier form.
Original Look[]
For Clawdeen's debut outfit, she has waist-length curly, two-toned dyed rose-gold and purple hair with brown underneath which has been kept in a top-knot half-down hairstyle. and she wore a few piercings - three of them being crescent moon-shaped on her left ear, and makeup which included coral-red lipstick and hot-pink nail polish on her sharp claws.
Clawdeen's attire consists of a pair of rectangular-shaped, golden-framed glasses over her eyes. She wears a set of jaguar-printed purple shortalls with a design of a black howling wolf which is surrounded by all of the phases of the moon printed on the chest center, worn over a mid-length-sleeved black shirt with hot-pink zebra stripes and moons printed all over it. She also wore a pair of slip-on sneakers which are colored in three shades of purple, with yellow shoelaces, velcro straps, and golden claws printed at the bottom and paw prints on the soles.
Clawdeen accessorizes with a golden moon-shaped belly belt around her waist, and the golden Moonclaw talisman which hangs from her neck - having a moon-shaped pendant around the purple jewel and small, star and crescent moon-shaped pendants on chains and the choker part of the necklace.
Personality[]
Clawdeen is a bold, confident, and energetic teenage girl with a kind heart and an interest in monsters. Many kids her age found her interest weird and bullied her, calling her names like ‘monster girl,’, which made her feel out of place. But, as always, she refuses to be defined by the boxes others try to put on her, and has been searching for a long time to understand herself and find a place where she truly belongs.
When she discovered Monster High, a school for monsters, it felt like home. Here, "fangtastic" wasn't a silly joke, and everyone celebrated being different. Clawdeen eagerly meets the challenge to explore the newfound facts about herself and to have a label that fits! But even though she does belong here, Being half-human and half-werewolf meant she fit in a little with both monsters and humans, but not completely with either. However, this difference turned out to be a strength, as Clawdeen’s complex identity and how she felt like an outsider after being bullied, means that she understands and empathizes with those who also feel out of place, while her protective and royal nature inspires her to stand up for others, especially friends and family.
After fifteen years of feeling different, her anxiety about making mistakes has taken a toll on her confidence. She’ll spend plenty of nights lying awake in her bed, worried about that time she pronounced “chimera” incorrectly in front of everyone (hey, she only read it, never said it aloud before!) or that everyone thought her chair squeaking was her farting! Despite her anxieties about fitting in Monster High, Clawdeen's a natural leader. Her bravery and determination shine through, even when she tries (and sometimes fails) to act super cool.
When Clawdeen learns to embrace her whole self, her human and werewolf sides, as well as her afro-latina heritage, She’ll be able to impact the world around her creatively, joyfully, and proudly. In a world where some might fear those who are different, Clawdeen shows the importance of staying true to yourself.
Abilities[]
Being the daughter of a werewolf and human and having the Moonclaw necklace/talisman, Clawdeen's abilities are:

- Athleticism: She is extremely athletic and takes on the full power of athleticism. Without being in her werewolf form.
- Human and Werewolf transformation: With the Moonclaw Tailsman she can switch between a human and a werewolf at will, something that only the most powerful werebeast can do. Without the Moonclaw Tailsman however, she will only be able to transform to from werewolf to human during the full moon.
- Werewolf instincts: Her whole life Clawdeen has heard a voice, that she never quite understood until she was gifted the moonclaw talisman. Now her instincts give her guidence, such as when there's trouble or danger. Her instincts also directly show her where there is danger through a vision where she can feel the world around her. When her visions occur, she can run at the speed of light, to help those as quickly as possible, like when she helped Cleo when she was about to fall.
- Acute sense of Smelling: She has an acute sense of smell when she’s in her human form, but when she's in her werewolf form it increases.
- Enhanced Hearing: Clawdeen has a super sense of hearing.
- Enhanced Strength: Clawdeen is shown to be very strong naturally. With the moonclaw necklace, she is gained with extra strength.
- Enhanced Speed: Clawdeen can run at high speed.

- Knowledge of monsters: Because of her passion for monsters, Clawdeen studies and researches about them everyday. So Clawdeen has a great knowledge about monsters and knows many facts about them.
- Singing: She is a great singer.
- Casketball: Clawdeen is great at playing casketball.
- Design: Clawdeen is a good fashion designer and has a passion for fashion.[1][2]

- Crescent: Clawdeen's adorable baby wolf and the cutest canine companion, who stays at home back in the human world.
Family[]
- Apollo: Clawdeen's relationship with her father, Apollo, is deeply supportive and loving. She recalls a special memory where he took her to a carnival and they rode the Gravis Spin together multiple times, which cheered her up during a tough year at school. This shows Apollo's effort to make Clawdeen feel happy and supported. Clawdeen describes Apollo as the only human who has always made her feel accepted, highlighting their close bond. In contrast, other humans made her feel like she didn’t belong, despite looking like them. This emphasizes how important Apollo is to her sense of belonging and self-worth.
- Clawd Wolf: At first, Clawdeen didn't believe Clawd when he claimed to be her brother, but when she saw Clawd had her mother's tamales, she realized he was telling the truth. After they worked together to stop the Splitzies from destroying the school, by singing the lullaby their mother sang to them as kids together, the two ended up developing a close sibling relationship. Being an older brother is something new to Clawd, as he has never looked out for anyone but himself (or his mom) before. So during the Growl-o-Games in "Over-Brotective", Clawd became overprotective of Clawdeen, to her annoyance. When they got trapped in a room with a dangerous venus flytrap, Clawd didn't let Clawdeen do anything and tried to take down the plant monster on his own, but was almost eaten alive until Clawdeen saved him. This made Clawd realize Clawdeen can take care of herself. He apologized to her and confessed he is just scared of losing her, but she forgave him, and they worked together to escape the plant monster. This has improved their relationship, as they now look out for each other.
- Selena Wolf: Clawdeen loves her mother very much, and missed her for the ten years they spent apart. At the Monster Ball, the two happily reunited. When Clawdeen became the new Were-Ruler, Selena gave her some advice by telling her to trust her human instincts. Selena’s advice helped Clawdeen to make the decision to step down as Were-Ruler and have were-society vote for their new leader.

In "Werewolf Weekend", one of Clawdeen's iBall records says "So, here's who I think is totally cute", meaning she might have a crush on someone. As of now, it's currently unknown who it is.
In "Monster Match", Clawdeen reveals that she is not going with anyone to the Monster Ball, meaning that she is likely not interested in pursuing anyone romantically at the moment.
