The Ghoulfriends

Frankie Stein

At the age of 15 days old, Frankie Stein is new to Monster High. She is the daughter of Dr. Frankenstein's monster and his bride. Frankie is very friendly and athletic, but has a clumsy streak, as her body parts tend to fly off. Her pet is a puppy named Watzit.

Draculaura

Draculaura is the daughter of Count Dracula, but she's a vegan vampire and does not drink blood. She is 1,600 years old. Draculaura is friendly and very sweet, and develops crushes easily. She loves fashion and is a big fan of pink and black. She can walk in the sun using a parasol, but cannot turn into a bat yet. Her pet is a bat named Count Fabulous.

Clawdeen Wolf

Clawdeen Wolf is the daughter of the Werewolf (also known as the Wolf Man). She is 15 years old, and is covered with fur, with two piercings in each of her wolf ears. She is confident, outgoing, friendly and fashionable. Her favorite color is gold. Clawdeen has a large family, including Clawd Wolf and Howleen Wolf, and a purple pet cat named Crescent.

Lagoona Blue

Lagoona Blue is the daughter of the Sea Monster, or the Creature from the Black Lagoon. She loves animals and water, and is laid-back. She carries her pet piranha Neptuna in a fishbowl (like a purse).

Cleo de Nile

Cleo de Nile is the daughter of the Mummy. She is the fearleading squad captain and is considered to be a mean girl, but she does have a heart of gold that all those close to her can attest to. She has a pet snake named Hissette who is somewhat poisonous.

Ghoulia Yelps

Ghoulia Yelps is the daughter of a zombie couple. She is the smartest girl at Monster High, although she only speaks "zombie" — moans and groans. She is shy and bookish, but quite thoughtful. In the Monster High books, she has a sister named Moan'ica Yelps. Ghoulia has a pet owl named Sir Hoots A Lot.

Abbey Bominable

Abbey Bominable is the daughter of the Yeti (better known as the Abominable Snowman). She is an exchange student from "up north" and her native language is Yetish. She sometimes has trouble understanding English slang. Abbey has a wooly mammoth for pet whom she called Shiver.

Spectra Vondergeist

Spectra Vondergeist is the daughter of the Ghosts. She writes an anonymous gossip blog and an advice column for the Monster High student newspaper, and as such is a bit of a rumor-monger. As a ghost herself, she can float and pass through walls. Spectra has a pet ferret named Rhuen.

Rochelle Goyle

Rochelle Goyle is a gargoyle from Paris. Rochelle is from France, where she occupied a roof near a great cathedral, presumably the Notre Dame. Her face is very animal-like, complete with striking pink eyes, wings and ears on the top of her head. She has a gargoyle pet named Roux.

Operetta

Operetta is mentioned in Holt's 'Basic' diary and in the 'School's Out' diaries. Her first webisode appearance was in "Hiss-teria", and she now has a profile on the Monster High website. She is shown to be a bit of a diva, but that's just her independent spirit. Her father moved to New Orleans when she was young, where she picked up the local "twang" and a love for country music. Her pet is a spider - Memphis "Daddy O" Longlegs.

Deuce Gorgon

Deuce Gorgon is the son of the gorgon, Medusa. He likes to skateboard and is interested in cooking. He wears sunglasses to prevent his turning other people to stone temporarily. One of his friends is a human named Jackson Jekyll. He is in a relationship with Cleo de Nile. His pet is Perseus.

Holt Hyde

Holt Hyde is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyde. He is a DJ and has a pet chameleon, Crossfade. He is in the book just with the name "DJ Hyde". DJ has a major crush on Frankie Stein and calls her "Firecracker" because she sparks him. His alter ego is Jackson Jekyll. Holt was introduced in the October release of the 'Basic' and appeared for the first time in "Hyde and Shriek".

Jackson Jekyll

Jackson Jekyll is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jekyll. He is a new kid at school, and believes he is a "normie", because he is unaware of his dual nature. In the Monster High books he has a crush on a girl named Melody Carver; he later finds out who he truly is. He was first introduced in the Gloom Beach doll set and appeared as a student on the Monster High site in May of 2011, and his bio was added to the site in July. His first cartoon appearance was in "Fear Pressure". His alter ego is Holt Hyde. He has a chameleon pet called Crossfade.

Gillington "Gil" Webber

Gillington "Gil" Webber is the son of the River Monster. He wears a helmet containing water on his head when he is on dry land. Gil was first seen in the webisode "Blue Lagoona" as the object of Lagoona Blue's crush, and later started a relationship with her.

Heath Burns

An arrogant fire elemental whose head catches on fire when he becomes excited or crushes on someone. Heath Burns is a showoff with a proclivity for bragging. His hotshot attitude is rather off-putting to the others, and usually ends up looking foolish because of it. He is the cousin of Jackson Jekyll/Holt Hyde and in the books has sister called Harmony Burns, though whether that is her real name or normie name is unclear.

Moe "Slow-Moe" Deadovitch

The object of Ghoulia Yelps's crush, Moe "Slow-Moe" Deadovitch is a zombie, and he wears a letterman jacket. He is one member of the school Casketball and Chess teams. Moe has shown to be fairly stoic and good natured. His first appearance was in the webisode "Cyrano de Ghoulia". He hates Heath playing guitar, and destroys the instrument once he starts.

Clawd Wolf

One of Clawdeen's older brothers, Clawd Wolf pretty down to earth and straight to the point. He is on the football and casketball teams at Monster High. He dated Cleo de Nile before she went out with Deuce.[1] He was introduced in the webisode "Fur Will Fly". Draculaura develops a huge crush on him in the webisode "Beast Friends". His pet is Rockseena.

Toralei Stripe

Toralei Stripe is an orange werecat who appears in Volume 2 of the webisodes. Her bio was added to the Monster High website in July 2011. She and her friends, the Werecat Twins, quit the fearleading squad in the webisode "Scream Building", leaving Cleo in the lurch. They later continue to sabotage and gossip about the ghoulfriends, though their plans usually backfire. Her pet is Sweet Fangs.

Purrsephone and Meowlody

The Werecat Twins, Purrsephone and Meowlody, were on the fearleading squad with Cleo and Toralei, but they quit when the entire team walked out in the webisode "Scream Building".

Howleen Wolf

Howleen Wolf is Clawdeen and Clawd's younger sister. She and Clawdeen share a room, and the two do not appear to get on very well at all.[2][3] She has a pet called Cushion.

Hoodude Voodoo

Hoodude Voodoo is the pretend-boyfriend created by Frankie Stein in the webisode "HooDoo You Like?". At the end of the webisode, he becomes alive and has been crushing on Frankie ever since.

Manny Taur

Manny Taur is a minotaur who first appears as a character in "Miss Infearmation", but debuted as backgrounder as early as "Falling Spirits". He has a sister named Minnie in the cartoon. He also made an appearance in Abbey Bominable's 'School's Out' diary.

C.A. Cupid

C.A. Cupid, full name Chariclo Arganthone Cupid, is the daughter of Eros/Cupid. She first appeared as part of the Sweet 1600 line.

Venus McFlytrap

Venus McFlytrap's personality is like her style-bold and loud. One of the biggest themes present in her personality is care for the environment, even going as far as controlling monsters to support her cause. She also has a punk-rocker style, as her partially shaved hairdo hints. Her pet is a flytrap plant called Chewlian.

Robecca Steam

Robecca Steam is a steam powered robot created a hundred years ago by a kindly scientist. She was dismantled in an accident while competing in a game of Roller Maze, and was rebuilt in the modern day. Her boots contain rockets which allow her to fly and hover. Her pet is Captain Penny

Don of the Dead

Don
Don of the Dead is a zombie boy who started out as a backgrounder. He appeared in "The Bermuda Love Triangle" as a rival for Ghoulia's affections and has been portrayed as Slow-Moe's best friend.

Bram Devein

Bram Devein is a vampire who previously went to Belfry Prep, but now goes to Monster High. He was introduced in "Fright On!". He is dating Gory Fangtell.

Gory Fangtell

Uncommon Cold - Gory Fangtell closeup
Gory Fangtell is a vampire leader figure and was originally student at Belfry Prep, but transfered with Belfry Prep's student body to Monster High. She was introduced in "Fright On!". She is dating Bram Devein.

Romulus

Romulus
Romulus is an alpha werewolf who previously went to Crescent Moon High, but now goes to Monster High. He was introduced in "Fright On!" as Clawd's childhood friend.

Dougey

Dougey is a werewolf who previously went to Crescent Moon High, but now goes to Monster High. He's the werewolves' tough guy, acting as a secondary leader and enforcer to other dominant wolves that use their brains more than their brawn, such as Romulus and Howleen.

Brocko

Brocko is a blond werewolf boy who previously went to Crescent Moon High, but now goes to Monster High.

Scarah Screams

Scarah Screams, previously known to fans as the background character called "sixties chick", was one of three characters to have a prototype doll displayed at San Diego Comic-Con International 2011.

Ricky

No Place Like Nome - Ricky
Ricky is a blue humanoid gorilla whose feet, hands and head are encased in blocks of ice. He is a student at Monster High. He was originally a backgrounder.

Invisi Billy

Icon - Invisi Billy
Invisi Billy is practical joker with a twisted sense of humor. Billy has an icy blue skin tone which looks almost white, gray eyes, and his hair is a dark shade of blue when he is visible.

Skelita Calaveras

Skelita Calaveras is an upcoming character in the Monster High franchise. Her first doll will be part of the Scaris: City of Frights line-up. Skelita is a calaca from Hexico (Mexico).

Jinafire Long

Jinafire Long is an upcoming character in the Monster High franchise. Her first doll wil be part of the Scaris: City of Frights line-up. She is a dragon from Fanghai (Shanghai), China.

Gigi Grant

Gigi Grant is the daughter of a genie, and so she must grant the wishes of her finder - whether good or bad!

Twyla

Twyla is the daughter of the Boogie Man. She is shy and misunderstood, hiding under normies’ beds to capture their nightmares rather than adding to them like her dad. She has a pet called Dustin.

Wydowna Spider

Wydowna Spider was one of three in the vote to which doll will be made in 2012. A prototype of her doll was previewed at San Diego Comic-Con International 2011. Despite placing second, Wydowna was made a character in 2013.

Teala

Teala is a troll who lives under a bridge. She has only been mentioned in Toralei's 'Campus Stroll' diary, in which she is telling the werecat about how her boyfriend has treated her.

Gingerbread boy

The "gingerbread boy" is a dwarf-sized living gingerbread man, created by Frankie Stein with the aid of Jackson Jekyll to be their Home Ick finals project in "Home Ick". He has since enrolled at Monster High.

The Perfect Guy

The Perfect Guy is a character whose face is never seen. He wears a letterman's jacket. He solely appears in "Horrorscope" as the object of Draculaura's crush.

Facebook student

The Monster High Facebook account is hosted by a mysterious student of Monster High, strongly suggested to be a girl. Very little is known about her, but she is good friends with most of the other students. It is also known that the Facebook student's parents for the longest time didn't allow her to have a pet. When on October 6, 2010, she finally was allowed to have one, she let the Facebook visitors decide and ended up with a pink male mini-dragon.

Andy Beast

Andy Beast is a monster who has lived on Skull Shores most of his life, due to transforming into a giant beast whenever he feels anxious. He appears in Escape From Skull Shores

As he normally looks, Andy possess yellow irises, a light purple skin and dark purple hair.

FrightningMonsterFrankie
As beast, Andy is some ten times his usual size, has a dark purple skin, and is covered in fur. He sports a full beard. His irises are orange, while the rest of his eyes is yellow. His antlers are huge and purple.

Kipling

Escape From Skull Shores - Kipling reforms
Kipling is Bartleby Farnum's loyal lackey. He wears a bag over his head, as he is afraid is appearance is too hideous for anyone to see. He appears in Escape From Skull Shores.

Eyera

Ghouls Rule - Eyera rejected
Eyera is a boy whose head is a giant eyeball. He first showed up in Volume 2 and is a prime backgrounder in the 3D TV specials.

Iris

Fear the Book - Iris
Iris is a former member of the Fear Squad as well as former Scream Queen. She does not understand Zombie. She is voiced by Kate Higgins.

Simon Clops

Beast Friends - Simon at game
Simon Clops is a rarely seen and extremely tall cyclops. He's a member of the casketball team.

Cy Clops

Cy is a Cyclops, and one of the new students staying at Monster High's dormitories. He's a shy, quiet character who likes to stay in the background, but when the school is threatened by Sylphia Flapper, he steps up to help Robecca, Rochelle and Venus save the day. He also develops a crush on Robecca Steam. He appears in the book series Ghoulfriends Forever

Rose and Blanche Van Sangre

Rose and Blanche are twin vampires from Romania, who are new students staying at Monster High dormitories. As they are Romani vampires, they insist on sleeping in the same place no more than three nights, often sneaking into other students' rooms to sleep. They get offended if people call them identical, as they insist one twin has shinier hair than the other. They appear in the book series Ghoulfriends Forever

Three Headed Freddie

Three Headed Freddie is a boy with three heads, and one of the new students staying at Monster High's dormitories. He has a habit of blurting out his thoughts unexpectedly. Each of his heads speak at the same time, but each one speaks in a different language. He even reads multiple versions of the daily newspaper in different languages. He appears in the book series Ghoulfriends Forever

Henry Hunchback

Henry Hunchback is a boy with a severe hunchback, and one of the new students staying at Monster High's dormitories. He's a cheery, excitable guy who is a great fan and admirer of Coach Igor. He appears in the book series Ghoulfriends Forever

Other and former students

Nefera de Nile

Nefera de Nile is Cleo's older sister. According to Cleo's 'School's Out' diary, she has always been extremely hard on Cleo. Nefera was the captain of the Fearleading squad during her time at Monster High. Her first appearance in the cartoon is in "Hyde and Shriek". Her bio was added to the Monster High website in July 2011. Her pet is Azura.

Catrine DeMew

Catrine DeMew has white fur, and shoulder-length, wavy purple hair with pink streaks. She has bright blue, cat-eyes and a purple catlike nose, along with short ears and a tail.

Thad

Thad is Draculaura's cousin. He has only appeared in "Ghouls Rule" so far.

Rocco

Rocco is the captain of Granite City High's Skulltimate Roller Maze team. An extremely thuggish and rowdy player, he'll resort to any tactics in order to win. He appears in Friday Night Frights .

Gary

Gary is Rocco's friend and fellow teammate in Granite City High's Skulltimate Roller Maze team. He appears in Friday Night Frights

Garrott DuRoque

Garrott DuRoque is Rochelle Goyle's boyfriend, who remains in Scaris while Rochelle goes to Monster High. They were very close to each other, but Garrott mysteriously stops writing to Rochelle, which makes her wonder what's happened to him.... He appears in Scaris: City of Frights and is also mentioned in the Ghoulfriends Forever book.

Grimmily Anne McShmiddlebopper

Grimmily Anne McShmiddlebopper is a campaigner for self-confidence and against bullying, and is an idol to the students of Monster High. She visits the school in "We Stop Hate".

Valentine

Vak2
Valentine is a narcisstic, cruel vampire who debuted in "Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love?". He plays a sick game of seducing girls, then intentionally breaking their hearts to add to his "collection", which seems to provide him with great power.

Clair

Clair
Clair is a student at New Salem High School. She likes to dress in a dark, Goth style, and isn't very fond of Halloween. She befriends Frankie and her friends in "Ghouls Rule" and helps them out in their quest to save Holt.

Chad

Ghouls Rule - Chad closeup
Chad is a student at New Salem High, and a close friend of Clair. He's an extremely friendly guy, with some rather unique dance moves. He befriends Frankie and her friends in "Ghouls Rule" and helps them become accepted by the other humans.

Lilith Van Hellscream

Lilith Van Hellscream is a student at New Salem High, and the niece of the famous monster hunter Van Hellscream. She stars in the special "Ghouls Rule".

Goons

Lilith's goons are a male set of identical twins which attends New Salem High. They are Lilith Van Hellscream's fans, friends, and co-conspirators. They star in the special "Ghouls Rule".

Boo-Lu Cerone

BOO-Lu Cerone is a new character of Monster High. It's unknown which webisode she'll mark her appearance yet. Her pet is a puppy called Bandit.

Melody Carver

Melody
Melody Carver is perceived as being a normie. She once had a large nose, which her plastic surgeon father fixed for her, both for cosmetic reasons and to help her breathe better. The family also moved to Salem, Oregon to help with her asthma, and Melody has to start at a new school, Merston High. According to Cleo's servant Manu, she is the daughter of the Siren Marina, who it is later discovered, gave her up for adoption.

Candace Carver

Candace Carver is Melody's confident older sister. Though her constant optimism irritates Melody, her advice is, more often than not, extremely useful.

A huge flirt herself, Candace rarely keeps a relationship and looks at dating as more of a game than anything. She is one Billy Phaidin's best friends and gave him the idea of visibility. They started the NUDI (Normies Uncool with Discriminating Idiots) group to promote RADs.

Billy Phaidin

Billy book
Billy Phaidin is the invisible RAD introduced in the first book. He took a shine to Frankie and became one of her best friends, agreeing with her about RAD-Normie equality. It wasn't long before he develiped a crush on Frankie and it wasn't long before they decided to just be friends. Billy is sarcastic, laid-back and loves to pull pranks. He strongly supports equality, and was a founding member of NUDI.

Bekka Madden

Bekka Madden is the main antagonist on the Monster High book series. Though she seems innocent and friendly at first, she backstabbed Melody when she found out that Jackson was a RAD. She is very discriminating against RADs, shooting out propaganda whenever she can. This hate mostly stems from the fact that Brett, her ex-boyfriend, chose Frankie Stein over her. By the third book, Melody used her newfound RAD powers to force out all her friend's true feelings. Bekka is left humiliated and friendless, increasing her hatred greatly. Between the second and third books she is the leader of the group HUNT (Humans Unite No Tolerance). In the fourth book she was mentioned once, where she transfurred to another school.

Brett Redding

Brett Redding started out as Bekka's boyfriend, but soon ended up with Frankie Stein, passing out into a coma when he saw her head fall off. He is a huge RAD supporter, and came up with the idea of a video where the monsters all poured out their feelings, but their faces would be blurred. The video was sabotauged and though he was originally accused, he cleared his name and got back together with Frankie.

Haylee

Haylee is introduced as Bekka's best friend , though seems to be more of a servant to the girl. She was tricked in 8th grade into signing an indentured servant contract and it doesn't expire until,the end of high school, thus making her Bekka's personal servant. She was tricked Haylee into signing a contract promissing her friendship and loyalty to Bekka forever. This has completely backfires. She is mainly seen following Bekka typing her life into her phone for a phone novel titled : "Bek, and Better than ever!" In book three, Melody convinces Haylee to de-friend Bekka.

Headless Headmistress Bloodgood

Totally Busted - Bloodgood stands
Headless Headmistress Bloodgood is head of Monster High, and in charge of discipline. She takes after her name, and is able to remove her head from her body. She rides a horse named Nightmare and carries a riding crop. Her character is inspired by the Headless Horseman from the classic story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". She was the Trigular Calcometry 101 teacher before Lou Zarr. Abbey Bominble and Shiver stay with her when Abbey starts attending Monster High.

Mr. Hackington

Freedom Fight - prepare for fail
The Monster High Science teacher seems to be a classic British torturer/executioner, with his accent, butcher's apron, leather mask and cabinet of weapons. Hackington tries to make the students dissect three-eyed frogs, though Lagoona intervenes and frees them.[4] He also deals with food distribution around school. He has a mother (who looks like him, but with a old lady bun), who broke her back in "Freakout Friday". His favorite quote is: "A dull mind cannot cut the cheese of knowledge."

Hatch Me If You Can - laboratory assistant

Laboratory assistant

The laboratory assistant is a green-skinned cyclops with red hair and a balding top. He assists Mr. Hackington in "Hatch Me If You Can" by getting eggs for the students. He only appears elsewhere in "Flowers for Slow Moe".

Mr. Where

Copy Canine - get ready
Mr. Where wears bandages, gloves, and a hat to make himself visible, and he tops off the ensemble with glasses and a scarf. And he can pop up anywhere. He also has the ability to extend his invisibility power to cloak his clothing as well. Unlike the original character, Dr. Griffin from the H.G. Wells novel, he is quite sane and benevolent. He is shown to be very polite and an intellectual. His limited scenes of student interaction imply he is held in high esteem by the students, and he likes them as well.

Coach Igor

A classic hunch-backed lab assistant who teaches gym class. Coach Igor has one peg leg. When he takes over Study Howl, he makes the students run laps. You can never rest with a coach like this!

Lou Zarr

Lou Zarr, a human, serves as a substitute teacher when one of the regular staff are unavailable, as seen in the webisode "Substitute Creature" and in the television special "New Ghoul @ School". He is a stiff, humorless, uncompromising hardnose about education. His lessons are shown to be so boring they tend to put students, and even himself, to sleep.

Mr. Mummy

Mr. Mummy is a math teacher at Monster High and, as his name suggests, a mummy. His favorite quote is: "Knowledge is the cure for every curse."

Ms. Kindergrubber is Monster High's Home Ick teacher and based on the witch from "Hansel and Gretal". Her favorite quote is: "You're nothing but skin and bones."

G. Reaper

Mr. G. Reaper
Mr. G. Reaper is presumably a skeleton and certainly a guidance counselor at Monster High.

Lunch lady

The lunch lady is seen in "HooDoo You Like?", "Fear Pressure", "Frost Friends", "Fright On!", "Unearthed Day", and "Hoodoo That Voodoo That You Do".

Mr. Rotter

Mrrotter
Mr. Rotter is the teacher of Dead languages. Seen in the webisodes "Idol Threat", "Fear the Book", "Back-to-Ghoul", "Desperate Hours", "Fright On!" and "Super Fan". He doesn't tolerate pranks, and will count them for acts worthy of expulsion.

Irene Maiden

Totally Busted - statue
One of the first teachers of Monster High, Irene Maiden got herself somehow stuck in a Greek statue without anyone knowing. She remained locked up for 2000 years, until Frankie Stein and Cleo de Nile accidentally freed her by breaking the statue in "Totally Busted". It is unknown if she resumed her job as a teacher.

Music teacher

Thus far unnamed, a skeleton or otherwise ghoulesque creature with a German accent giving music lessons was featured in the webisode "Gloomsday".

Crabgrass

Fright On! - Crabgrass full body
Seen in the special webisode "Fright On!" and spoken of in Venus McFlytrap's diary, Ms. Crabgrass was the assistant of Headless Headmistress Bloodgood at Monster High.

Mr. D'eath

Fearbook - D'Eath
The Guidance Counselor. D'eath was first spoken of in the Monster High Fearbook, but since May 2012 he has become a more significant presence in the fiction.

Mr. Verizhe

Fearbook - Verizhe
Verizhe is an invisible man seen in the Monster High Fearbook. His name is a homophonic play on "Where is he?".

Mr.Ogrethor

Mr. Ogrethor is the custodian at Monster High. He has very sensitive ears and gets irritable when ever someone plays loud music.

School photographer

The school photographer is an elderly man of unknown monster type. He is kind-hearted and goes dressed in clothes long overdue for repair. Besides being responsible for taking pictures, he also makes short educational movies for Monster High.

Lagoona's teacher

A teacher of whom only the voice is known, he was heard in the webisode "Parent-Creature Conference". Lagoona Blue is his best student, so much so that he personally wished to tell her parents. Since Lagoona's favorite subject at school is oceanography and no other teacher is confirmed to handle those lessons, it is possible he is the oceanography teacher.

Phantom of the Opera

As said in Holt's 'Basic' diary, Operetta's 'Campus Stroll' diary, and the game Ghoul Spirit, the Phantom of the Opera teaches a keyboard class.

Siren

Mentioned first in Holt's 'Basic' diary, there's a siren at Monster High who gives voice lessons. The Monster High magazine issue of May 2013 revealed her name to be Ms. Siren and her class Voice Training.

Sylphia Flapper

Sylphia Flapper is a dragon woman, and the new teacher of Dragon Whispering at Monster High. Extremely beautiful and fashionable, she soon become the center of attention of nearly everyone at the school. However, it soon transpires that she is using her abilities to brainwash the student body into becoming her followers and to raise an army to strike against humans. Robecca, Rochelle and Venus manage to stop her plans. She appears in the book series Ghoulfriends Forever

Miss Sue Nami

Sue Nami is a water creature, and the assistant of Headless Headmistress Bloodgood. Described as somewhat ugly with a wrestler's physique, she's in charge of keeping things shipshape at Monster High, and takes her job very seriously. She's quite humourless and goes about her tasks with maximum efficiency, often barging past students and soaking them in water. She appears in the book series Ghoulfriends Forever

Administrator Van Hellscream is the main villain of the Monster High Halloween special, "Fright On!", a human famous for his work in monster-human relationships and research into various aspects of monster culture.

Skullastic Superintendents

The Skullastic Superintendents are a trio of stoic calacas. They are supposedly in charge of the worldwide monster school network and can decide on the course a school takes or whether it may continue to exist.

Bartleby Farnum

Bartleby Farnum is a human who earns his bread as a travelling merchant and showman, whichever profession gets the most out of the situation. He takes the Ghouls to Skull Shores as part of a plot to capture the legendary Beast of Skull Shores.. He appears in Escape From Skull Shores.

Ramses de Nile

Ramses de Nile is the father of Cleo and Nefera. He made his debut in the special "Ghouls Rule".

The Sheriff

The Sheriff of New Salem is the main antagonist of "Ghouls Rule". He leads a manhunt to track down any monsters which could have snuck into his town, and has a gruesome punishment lined up for them. Unfortunately he's not the most reliable lawman, more interested in sleeping and eating donuts than doing actual police work, though accusations of inadequacy seriously tick him off.

Moanatella Ghostier

Moanatella Ghostier is a famous fashion designer based in Scaris. She opens up a school for fashion design, to which she invites Clawdeen, Skelita and Jinafire to for a chance to become her apprentice. But there is a sinister motive behind her actions... She appears in Scaris: City of Frights

Dead Fast is Ghoulia Yelps's favorite comic book hero and the protagonist of his own comic book series. He is a zombie who gained the power of superspeed after being bitten by a radioactive hummingbird. He appeared as part of a Ghoulia-centered plotline for Comic-Con 2011.

Dr. Igorable

Dr. Igorable is a human former employer and current enemy of the comic book hero Dead Fast. Igorable hates naughty and icky stuff, which he considers zombies to be, and wishes to rid the world of them. He doesn't like it when Dead Fast misuses his name by calling him "Dr. Deplorable".
