Barkimedes is a 2022-introduced and cartoon-only character. He is a werewolf, a student at Monster High, and a member of the school's Werewolf Council with Romulus and Howleen.

In the English version of the 2022 cartoon, Barkimedes's voice is provided by Darius Marquis Johnson.[1]

Personality[]
Barkimedes is a bumbling werewolf with a love for skateboarding. The most notable feature of Barkimedes' personality is his inability to grasp the schemes of his friends and keep their secrets, like when he revealed the pack's true plan to get Clawdeen's moonclaw necklace in detail when she refused to give it to them. He does not understand what "private" means, and often posts videos and messages that Romulus says to keep to himself.
Despite getting involved in pranking others and lying in the past, Barkimedes is arguably the friendliest out of the wolf pack, and seemed to have only done those things because he was ordered to by Romulus, Howleen, and Toralei respectively. He shows this friendliness later on in the series, becoming friends with students outside of the wolf pack, as well as holding a positive opinion of humans (as he wanted to see the human world and even befriended someone who was fully human, Buddy).
Appearance[]
He is a brown-furred werewolf with blonde hair, extra tufts on his body and ears, brown eyes, white fangs, and black claws.
His outfit consists of a black shirt with a white wolf head chewing a bone printed on it, shorts jeans, black socks, and dark purple sneakers. He also wears a long sleeve blue plaid blouse and a black hat. Since he's a skateboarder he sometimes wears a black skate helmet with a pizza slice-like sticker, knee pads, and elbow pads.

Being a werewolf, Barkimedes' abilities are:
- Acute sense of Smell: He has acute sense of smell.
- Enhanced Hearing: He has a super sense of hearing.
- Enhanced Strength: He is very strong naturally.
- Enhanced Speed: He can run at high speed.
- Athleticism: He is extremely athletic.
- Full Moon Transformation: Barkimedes' can take on his human form under full-moon light.

Romance[]
In "Horoscare", Barkimedes' horoscare app said "Today, you will catch someone's eye.", and he thought it meant Iris, so he tried to get her attention, but with no success. Toralei, whose horoscare made her believe humans would invade Monster High, manipulated Barkimedes into helping her, making him believe it will help him catch Iris' attention. When Barkimedes tried to stop Cleo from going outside, the fearleader squad, which includes Iris, stopped him with their welcome flab mob, and Iris hold him in the air smiling, so he thought his horoscare prediction came true.
However, later when he was pushing Toralei, who was stuck in an ectoplasm trap, Barkimedes commented that if would be funny if their horoscares meant that he was the werewolf enemy who infiltrated Toralei's heart, which lead her suprised. But then Lagoona, whose horoscare made her believe she would find her true love through music, was playing the tuba and immediately thought Barkimedes was her true love. He quickly took back what he said to Toralei and believed the same, so the two walked to the school together with Toralei. However, this potential romance does not go beyond this episode.
In "The Deuce Date" Barkimedes receives a Heartbeast letter from an unknown person. He later develops a crush on Meowlody in "You've Got Meow".

- October 7, 2022: Shea Fontana confirms on Twitter that the then-unidentified werewolf is not Howleen.
- November 4, 2022: Barkimedes' name is revealed in "Case of the Moondays".
